Starving

Hunger goes away if you ignore it,
They say that I must eat, but I'm not for it.
I know I am underweight,
And yet I never fill my plate,
And every bite just adds on to my self-hate.
I want to be much thinner,
So I skip breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
I will occasionally eat a snack,
But after, I want to take it back.
Maybe if I'm thin, my life will not be as grim.
Perhaps if I count my calories,
Then maybe I will be happy.
I am not satisfied,
With my looks or with my life.
So I starve myself and use my knife,
So stop telling me how to live my life.
