[A few years later.]
"Liam! Stop! Come back here!" I shouted. I'm trying to get the kids ready to go to daycare so I can go to work. Sam went outside to put Julia in the car so I'm left with chasing Liam. He went up to the attic. "Hey Mommy what's this?" he said to me holding a book he got from an old box. "What you got there?" I said as he handed it to me. "Its my old diary," I said."this was back when Mommy was younger." I told him. I picked him up and brought him out to the car. Then I opened my old diary and grabbed a pen.
Dear diary,
Hey, it's me Jane, Jane Austen. I am sorry I left you in the attic for years. I want to catch you up on my life. I am married, to Sam. I have two little kids, Julia and Liam, they're twins. I own a house with Sam. My mother is better and we are on good speaking terms. I left school after that unfortunate day. Now let me tell you about the crazy day the twins were born................ That was one of the best days of my life.
Sincerely,
Jane Austen.
I was reading the last entry of my mother's diary, I skimmed through the part of the day I was born, they told me the story so many times I remember every detail. I held the diary close. I could hear my mom's voice as I read this. I had no clue about her past. She was an amazing mother. She passed away a year ago. I miss her so much. "Mommy! Charlie took my doll!" I heard my daughter say, her and my son, Charlie were just one year apart. "Charlie give her back her doll." "hey Mommy what's that book?" "this was my mother's, your grandmother's."
