The pair arrived at school after a 10 minute journey in there silver convertible. One of the things there mother had given them. It felt like a scene out of a cheesy movie for Annora, everyone staring at them. She walked hand in hand with her brother who squeezed tightly on to her hand feeling its tremble.
'Don't be nervous. I love you and so will everyone else.' He whispered in her ear and lightly kissing her head. Leading Annora to a pack of his friends, Jamie strode ahead. The boys stared at her as if they had never seen her before.
'Hey Jay man, comin that party tonight?' The leader of the group and captain of the football team addressed Jamie but always kept his eyes on Annora. She stared straight back, almost like she was looking through him. Annora noticed how defined his muscles were. His brown eyes matched perfectly with his brown hair.
'Yeah bro, I’ll be there!' Jamie's voice was cool, like always. He knew the routine to the point that he could do it in his sleep. Jamie noticed the long stare war going on between his sister and Luca. Luca was half Greek and half Irish. Jamie knew he had a reputation and would have to keep an eye out for his sister.
'Jam, I’m going to get a coffee, I’ll see you later.' Annora called him by his nickname making him cringe. He leaned in for a hug and then she strutted off like the old Annie. Jamie smiled to himself; seeing that part of Annie was rare. He tuned out, not wanting to listen to the boys talk about how hot his sister was.

Annie walked to the coffee stand and placed her order. She moved aside so the next person could do the same. Looking across the front of the school she finally felt a little bit of her had returned. The man woke her from her stare passing her the Americano. She paid and was about to walk off when a group of girls stopped her. They were the 'popular' girls of the school, which Annie could tell.
'Hey are you new here?' the blonde at the front asked. She had a natural tan like Annie but instead of a slim and toned body she was just slim. She smiled all her white teeth on show. Annie wasn't shy and wasn't about to become just because she was in the presence of the schools top bitches.
'Last day of the first week.' Annie spoke casually like it wasn't any trouble speaking to them, but it wasn't the highlight of her day. In all truthfulness Annie couldn't give a shit.
'Haven't seen you around?' The girl sounded like she was accusing Annie of something.
'It's because i didn't want to be seen.' Annie saw the look of shock spread across the girls face like she had just spat on a grave. Annora decided to dramatically leave and flicked her hair off her shoulder. She spun on her heal and headed in the direction of the entrance.
