Pre-Landing. Date: Unknown. Time: Unknown. Place: B-5780 class ship Radgoer

As I approached the planet I felt... Scared.

This would be my first time on a planet I thought to myself. I was so used to being in the B-5780 class ship Radgoer. The ship had been my home for my whole life,I'd only heard of a world outside the ship.

The Radgoer was the first ship built for the purpose of testing other life forms from other Star systems. All others were built as warships or colony ships to fuel the war effort. The war that changed everything on my kinds homeworld. I know I am of a people known as the Bionians and that we were fighting the Unionians, but that is the extent of my knowledge past this ship.

Our test is the effect of radiation on life forms over many generations. This was important for us to know, I am told, but I am just supposed to monitor life forms, and do not require a need to know such things.

I have shown combat abilities beyond many on our ship. That's why my task was to survive and test on the planet itself.

The captain of the vessel, Belfred Bushnell, sent hundreds of people down to watch over the tests. I was one of them. The captain have us varying amounts of equipment, but we all got at least a week's worth of food and water, a 10mm pistol, 20 bullets for the pistol, some warm clothing, a transmitter to communicate with the ship, and a log book to record our journey. You are currently reading my logs.

We were to land on the surface at different points on the landmasses, and would be released from our landing capsules at different times. Upon release we were to write in our logs after each day, describing the events that took place. We were to transmit it up to the capital ship after writing (but between me and whoever gets their hands on my logs, I won't be transmitting this part.)

We were to report to the captain upon release from our pods. That was all we were told before we got in our pods and were sent rocketing to the planet below.

While falling a little voice came on the speakers. "Initiating suspended awareness and ageing. Good night." And the world suddenly went dark.

A minute later I woke up and the voice said "Good Morning. Subject asleep for 106,359,514 years. Enjoy testing!"

I didn't think it was possible. But with Bionian engineering, anything was.

My muscles strained to move, but after a few minutes of trying to move, I finally succeeded. I opened the latch above me, the light blinding me temporally, and I crawled out into a brand new world.
