"Mom? Dad?" I say when I walk into the Living room. I hear my mom calling from the kitchen, "We're in here, Honey." Huh, Honey. My Mom has always called me that since I was five. My Dad's nickname for me was always "sweetheart" I know right. I walk into the kitchen to see my mom cooking brunch. At this point, she was cutting up some vegetables and my dad reading the daily newspaper. "Mom. Dad, I have something to tell you." I sigh. " I'm moving to England." That got my dad's attention for once, and also my mom's attention. They both try to say something but before they can even get a word out I say, "And Wait, okay, just wait to say anything. Just hear me out okay." They both look at each other and my dad says, "Okay talk. Because I would like to understand as to why you would want to move to England."

"I want to move to England to become a servant girl for the Queen. Mom, Dad, you know me and you know I've been in love with the Elizabethan Era and the Victorian Era since I've heard about it in history class. You can't keep me here forever. You can try but you won't succeed."

My dad looks at my mom and my mom looks at him as if the telepathically talking to each other. Then my mom sighs. " Then we'll move together. We'll move to England with you. Let's start packing tonight and tomorrow me and your dad will buy plane tickets to go with you."

"Mom, I'm already packed and the plane leaves tomorrow, and they told me when I bought my ticket that I was lucky to get there at that time because that was their last ticket to England for that day. They won't get any more tickets until tonight."

My dad does the talking this time. "Okay... Okay, but be careful. We love you, Ann. And you know we don't want anything to happen-" My father was cut off by my mother. " Harold! We need to talk about this we can't jus-" This time my mother was cut off by my dad. "Celine, you know we can't keep her here. And she already bought the ticket. Plus we need time to be able to sell the house. We can't just live in a hotel forever. It will give us some time to be able to think. She will be fine on her own. She is to move out in a year. She's just matured a year early. We were going to go through this talk some point or another. It's time to let her go."

My mom just stands there to think it over. Then she finally gives in. " Oh alright. But you call us the second you land and every night after word."

" I will, mom. I will. I'm going to bed, I love you guys. Night, Mom. Night, Dad."

"Goodnight sweetheart. See you in the morning." Says my Dad.

"Oh, about that I leave at 4 am, so I could have all day to unpack and be a tourist for a day. and go sightseeing maybe."

"Okay, can't wait to see you there. Hopefully. Goodnight, Ann." Says my Mom.

"Goodnight, mom."I walk out of the kitchen and go upstairs to my bedroom. When I walk into my bedroom I close the door, change into my pj's, set my alarm clock to 3 am, and go to bed.

I'm still having surgery on June 15th and I'm so nervous about it but at the same time so excited about it. Please comment and vote and also tell me what you think about this new story/book. I haven't really thought about whether or not I'm going to make this into a book or a short story.
