"Alright," Coach starts saying. I'm at the Boy's Locker Room with Scott and the rest of the team because I'm officially a Lacrosse player and Coach is going to talk about the Annual Bonfire for the Lacrosse team. Liam's here too but he's sitting alone on a bench. Even if we're not in the same grade, I've seen he's been pretty quiet and... distant.
Last night Parrish was set on fire in his car. All of him should've been burned to ash, but he's alive. Sheriff got shot in his arm from and accident during it and Scott told me that Derek is turning more human. He lost all his abilities and now carries a gun with him. I think it's ironic how he never liked guns due to what he's been through and now he uses one.
"I know that the bonfire of the start of the season is... important for you, I also know that sometimes it gets out of control. There's ex students that come over, and other teams, and alcohol, and a lot, a lot of alcohol." Coach says and everybody in the team starts to cheer and clap, except for me, Liam and Scott.
Liam looks distracted, but in a somewhat, bad way, like he's worried. And now that I think about it, I breathe in and out of all of the scents in the Locker Room, Liam does smell worried, and there's also traces of fear. "Okay. Shut up! What I don't understand is, why would somebody would want to bet completely drunk in a bonfire?" Coach says.
