Background

Iolite was a Soldier than became the second Sapphire for Blue Diamond when the first Sapphire went against the rules by fusing with other gem other than fusing with your own kind of gem and running away. Ever since she  witness Sapphire and Ruby fusion and the rebellions she wanted to be apart of it. When news about Pink Diamond got shattered Iolite took her chances leaving Homeworld and went to earth to Join the rebellions.
