The rest of Myrah's morning passed with ease. She saw no more of Caleb. Not that she minded. At lunch, she sat at the table with the most girls. Most of them just stared at her. However, two of them spoke up. "I'm Molly, who are you?" Said a blonde haired girl. "Myrah, what's it to you? " "She wasn't trying to be mean, calm down. " said a black haired girl named Julia. "What are you, ms. Peaceful? " retorted Myrah. "No, I - Julia tried to explain but was cut off by Myrah's bragging to the other girls. "I always have the latest designer fashions. My parents buy me whatever I want. I guess your school isn't that bad. Its not the crap hole I thought it would be. " After that last comment, Molly and Julia knew exactly who they needed to talk to.
They found him standing by his locker checking text messages. "Caleb!" they screamed. "Have you met her? "If by her you mean the city bitch who has no idea what shes getting into, then yes I have. Don't worry, I already have a plan. And it's a good one if I may say so myself. " The girls squealed in delight. They had been best friends with Caleb since grade school, so they didn't have to ask to know that his plan was going to be good. For the rest of the day, all they talked about was what Caleb might do and when.
Caleb knew his plan was foolproof. No one would guess that he would befriend her. Everyone in the school would be shocked, which was part of his plan. It would get the rumors started.
At the end of the school day, Caleb walked right up to Myrah. "Let me drive you home"he said. Myrah couldn't hold in her laugh. "I wouldn't be caught dead with someone like you, redneck. Now scurry along and don't waste my time again. " was the oh so sweet reply that she gave him. "You must have misunderstood me. That wasn't an option. I am driving you home. Let's go." replied Caleb. Myrah decided to go. She had the perfect plan to make sure that Caleb would know who he's dealing with.
