Chapter 18

IMPORTANT NOTE AT END!

“Alright… I’ll see you when you and the Boys get back,” I told Carl giving him a hug and a kiss.

“Ok Scar… I love you,” He replied moving his head down and pecking my lips.

“Love you too,” I whispered as I pulled away from him and let Jacob go to Carl.

Jacob walked up to Carl and looked up at him before tugging on Carl’s dress pants. Carl squatted and picked Jacob up.

“Hey there buddy!”

“Hi daddy! I’m gonna miss you… You’re gonna be gone for like… A WEEK! That’s a long time,” Jacob exclaimed widening his eyes as he realized Carl would be gone ‘A long Time’.

“I know Bud… But I’ll be back before you know it. Could you do me a favor,” Carl asked Jacob with a serious look on his face.

“Yeah! What do you want me to do,” Jacob asked lookup up at Carl with his blue eyes sparkling.

“Be the man of the house… Take care of mommy for me while I’m gone,” Carl told Jacob as he looked as him raising his eye brows trying to look serious. I have news for ya Carl… You can never look serious…. You’re too damn adorable!

Jacob sat up a little straighter in Carl’s arms and replied, “Yeah! I’ll be a man just like you are! Big, bad and cool!”  See, ever since I told Carl 3 weeks ago he has been wicked protective over me…

 Carl held Jake’s hair back and kissed his forehead before putting him down. He then waved to the two of us before picking up his laptop bag and heading over to the bus where most of the guys were. Before getting on the bus he looked back at us and waved goodbye. I picked Jacob up and the two of us waver back.  

After that I walked over to Marc and Jen with Jake still in my arms.

“Aye… Are you ready to head back to my place,” I asked as approached them.

“Yeah… Let’s get going… we can have pizza! How does that sound boys,” Jen asked as she looked between Marc, who was in her arms, and Jacob.  

“Yeah,” The both exclaimed looking at each other.

“Alright… The pizza will be here in 20 minutes,” I said putting my phone into my pocket as I sat down on the couch next to Jen.

“What movie do you boys want to watch,” Jen asked as she held up the DVD’s of ‘Finding Nemo’ and ‘The Lion King’.

“FINDING NEMO,” Marc and Jake yelled together as they jumped up and run up to Jen grabbing the DVD.

Jen and I looked at each other and chuckled. “Ok Boys… go change into your PJ’s first… Then we can watch the movie… Alright?”

“Yeahhhhhhh!” The two little boys’ feet pattered across the carpeted floor and up the stairs.

About 5 minutes later we heard a, “COME ON MARC! WERE GONNA GO WATCH NEMO!”

Ohhhh Jacob, you take after your father…. The two of them both come stomping down the stairs and sat on the ground in front of the TV where they currently had all their blankets, pillows and their stuffed animals. Jen soon hit play and sat back pulling her blanket over her. The boys’ eyes were practically glue to the screen as the opening scenes appeared. 

About 10 minutes later the pizza came, so I paused it and went to go get it a pay. Soon the boys came running in with Jen trailing close behind them. Jen and I both cut up the pizza for the boys. Soon enough we were all back in the living room watching Nemo. As I was sitting there watching the movie my phone vibrated in my pocket.

I quickly pulled out my phone and looked at it. I had a text from Carl.

“Hey… Just so you know I love you … Hope you and Jacob are having fun! Night! :)”  

I smiled down at the phone and typed back…

“We are! Love you too… Have a good night! :D”  

I put my phone down and laid down on the couch. The movie was currently at the part where Dory and Marlin were in the whale. I looked over at the boys to see them both with their eyes closed heavily. I hit Jen’s arm and pointed over to the boys. The two of us stood up and headed over to the boys, picking them up. We headed up the stairs quietly and tucked them in Jacob’s bed. Jen and I then headed back downstairs where we both sat down on the couches talking.

“So, Jen… I have something important to tell you,” I informed as I looked down at my hands in my lap.  

“What is it Scar? Are you ok,” She asked concerned looking over at me with a serious look.

“I’m kinda… Pregnant,” I replied looking down.

“OH MY GOSH! SCAR! That is so awesome! Who all knows,” She asked jumping up a little with a large smile on her face.

“Well,” I took a deep breath shifting my position, “Carl, you and Jamie.”

“That is so cool,” She said before she yawned. “How about we talk about it in the morning?”

“Sounds good,” I replied before laying back and turning off the lamp next to the couch.  

Little did I know, I most definitely wouldn’t want to talk about it in the morning.  

I am WICKED sorry I haven't been posting. I've been busy with school lately... and I've been going to a lot of Milwaukee Admirals Games!!! I've been on over drive lately. I don't have off of school till April 18th... and I haven't had off since January 20th... so yeah... Sorry I haven't posted...
