"no no, this isn't how we spell handsome," taehyung groaned, scratching the back of his neck. he flipped pages of the dictionary to spell handsome correctly in hangul. "me-os-jin," he muttered, too focused on spelling the word right.

he reread his letter, i mean, love letter and smiled at the essay he has written for his crush. taehyung isn't smart and isn't dumb atleast, that's what he likes to say. he is in the last class of his grade, class F. he could write and read hangul but sometimes would mess up the spelling. he was never serious in his studies but today, he was serious in writing a love letter.

taehyung decorated the letter and carefully slided the letter into a pastel pink envelope. he sticked a heart sticker on the envelope as the finishing touch and smiled at his piece of work. he glanced at the clock to see it was almost midnight. he quickly shoved the envelope into his bag carefully and looked out the window.

"jeon jungkook," taehyung smiled to himself. "i wish we will be together," he continued before heading to his bed for some beauty sleep.

it was 6:12am, the school gates were still closed and no one was seen heading to the school but one male was and it was kim taehyung. pulling his scarf up closer to his chin, he waited for the school gates to open and also waited for his crush.

few minutes later, students slowly flooded the school and taehyung's crush was still unseen. he looked around and hid quickly, "he's here." taehyung confidently walked pass the school gates then quickly ran over to catch up with his crush. he stood infront of the boy who owns a coconut hairstyle.

he bowed while holding out the envelope, "jeon jungkook," the boy looked at his admirer with a plain look on his face. "please accept this letter," taehyung said with confidence but one could hear how nervous he was.

"no,"

hearing that, taehyung dropped the envelope and looked at his crush. his crush had an expressionless look and walked past him, stepping on the envelope. students whispered after unveiling what had happened. no one was shocked as this has always happened to girls who confessed to jeon jungkook.

"taehyung-ah!" jimin ran to his friend who still could not believe what happened. the days and nights wasted, staying up to not mess up the spelling for his letter. he hoped he could atleast get a polite rejection but was rejected coldly.

"aish, what did i told you? it's not worth chasing jungkook. you'll get rejected like how his other admirers got rejected," jimin complained. taehyung fell in love with jungkook ever since jungkook gave his speech for the opening ceremony three years ago. ever since then, taehyung has been head over heels for the coconut head.

"come on now, it's about to rain," jimin wrapped his arm around his friend's shoulder after picking up the now wet envelope. they both went to their classes and jimin sat taehyung down on his seat.

"jiminie hyung, did i do something wrong? why wouldn't he accept my envelope? he rejects girls, doesn't that mean he is gay?" taehyung asked. his mind overflowing with questions and jimin groaned at his innocent friend. "taehyung, just because he rejects girls, doesn't mean he is gay. you're the first guy who confessed to him, what if he was as straight as a pole?" jimin unwrapped the scarf around taehyung's neck to fold on the table.

"now look what you have done. hoseok is gonna go crazy. you know how much he loves you," jimin said, sighing. "he loves me as a friend," taehyung replied. "gosh, you're so blinded by love."

"taehyungie!" hoseok ran into the classroom, almost crashing few of the students' desk. he ran to taehyung's desk, panting. "you confessed to jungkook?!" hoseok half screamed, half asked. "yah, low your voice down. oh gosh," jimin rolled his eyes and got up to walk over to his own desk.

"he rejected me," taehyung replied with his voice cracking, looking down. he felt empty, he felt that 3 years of loving jungkook was a complete waste. he felt that maybe if he never fell for jungkook, he would have been in the top class, studying to achieve his dream but instead he ended up in the last class, having to study even during holidays.

"why did you do it?" hoseok asked, pulling a chair to sit across taehyung. "i thought maybe he would accepted my letter," taehyung replied, looking at the wet envelope with a footprint on it. "why won't you notice me?" hoseok mumbled under his breath. hoseok chuckled and gave a reassuring smile. "don't give up then."
