Chapter2.

I could hear the boys laughing as they walked down the hallway and into the room. As they enter Brandon runs and jumps at me for a hug while miles just strolls past silently and flashes a small but meaningful smile. I look over at jack who is grinning at us cheekily. I quickly pull away from Brandon realising how long he's been holding me and how awkward this must be for jack as Brandon and miles don't know we are together. Brandon sees my eye contact with jack and gives us a puzzled look causing us to control ourselves and get back to the band. I grab the microphone and we decide to practice our new song "birthday girl" that we wrote for Agnes for her birthday on December 5th, in a week. Lucky the games room is sound proof because it's supposed to be a surprise. Once we finished that song we decided to start writing a new one and for the first time they asked me to help write the lyrics "how about the title 'addicted to you" I ask looking over at the note book off words that lays across brandons lap " good idea" Brandon winked "oi Brandon man, back off the lady" I hear jack say under his breathe "what have we got so far" miles gushes from the other side of the room "here Jess sing it to us" jack pleases throwing me the notebook

As I sing I stare at jack who taps his feet to the beat so I keep on time. I long for more lyrics so I can sin but but practise is about to be a rap and I have to go home or meg will have a mental break down and barney and Phoenix will want to play. I slowly finish off the last note then pin the paper onto a cork board of song ideas hanging in the games room.
