Haven went into her dad's office after being sent for
"What?" She said as soon as she walked in
"The court date, it's set." Her dad replied
Haven's eyes widened
"No, are you kidding me?" She exclaimed
Her dad shook her head
"No, the judge called, the trial starts 3 weeks from today," he replied writing on a piece of paper
"How are we gonna prove he's innocent?" She asked her dad who shrugged
"If he actually was innocent, I'd help," her dad replied
Haven growled and walked out of the office to Dean's cell
"Sunshine," he said happily walking over to where she stood at the metal bars, gripping onto one looking like she was in pain
As soon as she heard his voice and saw the amazing smile on his face, she knew she needed to do everything for this man.
"Hi baby," she said kissing his lips with a small smile
"What's up?" He asked her with the same sunny smile on his face
"Your court date, it's 3 weeks away," she said fearing his response but he just took a deep breath and nodded
"Okay," he said, confusing her
"Aren't you nervous?" She asked him
He shook his head
"No, because I'm guilty," he replied
She kissed her teeth and shook her head
"No you're not, I know you aren't, I just need the right evidence to prove it." She said to him
He shook his head and took her face in his hands
"Look, I need to plead guilty else it's your life in danger and I can't let that happen sunshine." He persuaded
She nodded with her index and middle finger crossed behind her back
He smiled at her and she excused herself, she needed to get Dean out of here, to prove to everyone as well as her dad that he was as innocent as a baby duckling so she quickly formulated a plan and smirked
She loved this man and would be damned if she let him suffer for something she completely believed he was innocent of
