【Slight Angst, Fluff - 임창균】
Not a day goes by that I forget them. Nor forget what they did to me. I thought that I could trust them. But that was when I learned how truly cruel reality is. That was when I made a vow. I vowed never to trust anyone again. I haven't let anyone get close to me since, and I don't intend to.
Since then I've made myself average, as unnoticeable as possible. I wear thick framed glasses, I dyed my hair light brown, I wear brown contacts, and I don't really talk as much as I did before. Now I suppose most people would simply start over, pretend nothing happened. Act like the person everyone loves but after what they did to me, I won't trust anyone ever again.

I was carrying my papers from Block A to Block C so I had to walk outside. The corridors between buildings were one way and usually too crowded at this time. So that's why I decided to walk around it also meant I wouldn't be late, even though it was freezing.
"HEADS!!" I heard someone shout. At that second I knew something is thrown and would be flying straight for me, so I ducked. Milliseconds later a baseball came flying past my head at about a hundred mile an hour, slight exaggeration but fast nonetheless. I gaped and look at the guy who throws the ball running to my direction.
"Watch IT! You could've taken my head off!" I shouted.
"Yeah sorry about that, I didn't think anyone would be outside right now. Are you okay though?" he said.
"Yeah, well, neither did I. And I'm okay, thank you for your concern and goodbye" I said picking up my things and walking off. This little incident cost five precious minutes of my time. I did not want to be late.
"Hey!" he shouted, and I turned around. "Those were some sick reflexes!" he grins and puts two thumbs up from a distance.
"Yeah... shit happens" I replied, and this time I left without another word.
I somehow made it to class on time. Being late means being questioned by the teacher which meant unwanted attention. The teacher had just finished taking the attendance when the guy who almost took my head off came into the class. I stared at him and he notices me. He waves his hand quickly and walked towards the teacher's desk.
"Lim Changkyun, why are you late?" the teacher asked.
"Oh, sorry sir I set off through the corridor a while ago but it was so busy. I will leave earlier next time" he played it off, unbelievable.
"Don't let it happen again"
"I won't sir, promise" he said.
"Well class, sorry to tell you this when you've already sat down but... I have a new seating plan based on your grades from the test you recently took. I will be sitting you in rows, the furthest back had the best grades and the closest to the front had the worst grades" well then at least I know I won't be sitting next to that Changkyun guy.
Unbelievable.
The must be some kind of mistake. There's no way he's sitting next to me, it can't be possible.
"Hey, chairmate" he whispered. "Do you have a spare pen?" Is this guy for real? I can't see him getting some of the high grades in the class there's just no way right? Nonetheless I handed him a pen. I didn't need him complaining and drawing attention to me.
Class was over and it was finally time for lunch. I packed my stuff away and headed for the math corridor. I ate my lunch in math room 10C, that's where I always have lunch since each year have to spend their lunch in designated areas. Ours was the math corridor, and an area outside but it was too cold to spend more than 5 minutes out there.
