Introduction-
Hey guys. One night I felt so inspired and so in awe with my idol (Shawn Mendes) so I decided to write a fanfic at 1 am 😂
Anyway.. here goes nothing...

It was one bright and warm day. I knew today was going to be life changing. I just knew it.
Here in stormy Britain, it wasn't normal for it to be this sunny. So I took advantage and put on my shades, lace shorts and a vest top. I ran downstairs and sat at the table.
'Holly you are awake! Hallelujah!'
'Haha very funny Dad!' I said jokingly.
'Are you excited for today honey?' My mum said happily.
'YES MUM' I shouted in excitement.
'Oh why what's going on that is so amazing?' My dad said as if he didn't know what was going on.
'DAD COME ON IM SEEING SHAWN MENDES!'
'OMG OMG OMG!' My dad shouted, mocking me and pretending to fan girl!
'Alright that's enough Paul!' My mum said quickly to my dad.
'So I'm just going to meet Alex for a bit, because I won't see him for 5 days!' I said to my mum and dad.
I wasn't going to see my best friend because the concert was in London. Which was a 6 hour drive, and me and my mum decided to stay at a hotel and make the most out of the trip.
'Holly!' My brother and sister came downstairs running and hugging me.
'Hello beautifuls! Did you all sleep ok?'
They both nodded and sat down to eat their breakfast.
Well I best be off! I thought to myself.
I ran upstairs and grabbed my phone and my keys.
It was a bit early (9am) so I decided to scroll through Twitter.
I went onto Shawn's page and he tweeted:
'Can't wait to perform in London tonight! Something just feels so amazing. You guys are awesome! Love you all!x'
I loved Shawn so much. The way he loves his fans and he always appreciates us. He is truly amazing.
I like and retweeted the post.
I walked downstairs and shoved on my flip flops.
'Bye' I shouted and closed the door behind me.
Alex and I had known each other since nursery. We were so close. People normally mistake us for either brother or sister, or girlfriend and boyfriend. Which is so awkward. But no. We were each other's first kiss. For sure I love him. But just as friends. We did all of our first things together. I felt comfortable with him and we wanted to do it together first because we trusted each other. But I could never go 'out' with him.
But back to Shawn's tweet. I get why his feeling of something amazing is going to happen. But I just can't put my finger on it!
After a 5 minute walk down the road, I approach Alex's house at half nine! (In the morning)
I'm never this early but I'm so excited for the concert later.
I knock on the door and I hear Alex coming to the door.
'HOLLY' he shouts as he opens his door.
'ALEX' I say back to him.
'Today is the day babe. How do you feel?' Alex says to me, as if he is fangirling with me.
'Im so excited' I say to him while giving him a big hug.
He is the best hugger ever. He is so warm and so kind. He kisses me softly on the cheek.
We both walk upstairs to his room.
He is wearing a Ralph Loren T-shirt and ripped jeans. He looks so hot; and he smells amazing too!
I sit on his bed and unlock my phone.
Alex sits next to me and takes my phone off me.
'Holly we need to spend as much time together as possible. You can check your phone later' he says to me and puts my phone into his pocket.
'Oh yeah sure sorry' I said softly.
He laughs and hugs me.
'I don't want you to go. But then I do. I hate being apart from you Holly' he whispers into my ear.
I know this looks odd. We just have a really close friendship..
'I know how you feel Alex. I will miss you for the 5 days we are apart' I kiss his forehead.
We hugged for what seemed like half an hour.
We have such a cute friendship. But I always felt like he wanted more.
'So anyway, shall we watch a film? Get you chilled out before tonight?' Alex says smirking.
'Haha no Netflix and chill today Alex!' I say to him jokingly.
'But I'm feeling kinky' he says sulkingly.
We both laugh and watch the film. I have no idea what film it was, as the whole entire time I was thinking about Shawn.

Shawn bloody Mendes.
I couldn't believe I got FRONT ROW TICKETS!
He is so bloody hot. His voice is so seducing.
Anyway.. back to the film.
When the random film finished, Alex let me back on my phone.
I couldn't hold my excitement in no more so I tweeted Shawn (although he clearly wouldn't see it)
