A Day In The Life Of Genevieve

So this is new. It's kind of a different form of journaling I guess. Which I can never keep up with so we will see how this turns out I guess. So. I guess we'll just start then...

I feel like there is a lot of things that happen on June 4th. Whether it's birthdays, graduations, anniversaries, or just an event going on in town. Everything seems to revolve around June 4th. I don't know why. It just kinda happens I guess. But today, on my June 4th, I was at my grandparents house in Michigan. We celebrated his 72nd birthday. I even had relatives from Pennsylvania show up. It was kinda a big family reunion in a way, which was weird cause my family doesn't do that sort of thing. But it was really great seeing everyone there. If I had a dollar for every "oh wow, you've gotten taller!" comment I'd be rich. Besides the point, I had a good time. We all had to cram into my grandparents house to spend the night, some even tented out in the backyard. But it was worth it. I also finished a book, which was surprising considering I hardly ever read. Honestly, that's about it. I was also in the car traveling home and the sun was setting as we drove. I love it. And traveling with my mom is one of my most favorite things to do with her. I often don't give her enough credit for all that she does for me. I'm truly blessed. So future Genevieve, if you're reading this a year from now take a good look at how you're treating mom. She deserves the world and you know it. Regardless, tomorrow I have to get my work permit into the school for my first job ever at shopko (which I start on Tuesday), and I have an improv class to attend. Should be a good day. But for now, good night. Sleep tight, and don't stay up all night watching netlix (even though I probably will.)
