I lied on my bed and silently stared at my ceiling. I had brushed my teeth and gotten ready to go to sleep. I didn't feel sleepy, I felt a funny tingling feeling in my entire body and I hear an odd high-pitched noise pierce my right ear.
I felt like I could've detached from my body, but then Popov hopped next to me and climed onto my chest! He purred and massaged my light blue pyjamas with his sharp nails.
It was weird just lay in dark and watch around the room. The gloomy pure blackness made the whole room look heavy and I swore I saw the toys deflate a little.
My eyes didn't accept that I couldn't see anything in the room, so they decided to make human-like shapes onto the floor, next to my bookshelf. I smiled at the figure, and waved my hand. It looked like it smiled back and stared at me with white round eyes.
I heard metallic klanc, and the doorknob went down. I fel like cold arms wrapped around my heart, and squeezed all thw blood out of it. I pulled my blanket over my head and held my breath, listening to the heavy steps walk up to my bed and stop there. I almost saw the face of a human, staring down at me.
And I wondered why he was here.
