Once I had shooed Murtagh out of my room in the morning I immediately went to my closet and pulled out traveling gear, it's time for me to leave.

I pulled the green undershirt on, it was short in the front but had two longer flaps at the back. I will never understand fashion. I pulled on a pair of new leather pants as Lydia and Frida ran into the room.

"I'm heading out for the day, can one of you tie up the leather over shirt while the other gets a pair of boots?" Frida tied up the leather over shirt while Lydia went into the closet to retrieve a pair of boots. I then had Frida braid my hair before pinning it to the base of my head so it would be out of the way. "Thank you, I'll call when I need you."

They both nodded before making a hasty exit, I walked over to the table that my sword and dagger rested on and quickly pulled them on. My sword on my back in the direction of my left shoulder and my dagger on my right thigh. Almost ready to leave.

I walked over to the vanity and put both necklaces on before placing my crown back on my head. I looked at myself in the mirror, it was time to go back. I've learned enough. I swung a cloak over my shoulders just as there was a knock at my door.

"Come in." A short man who had a nervous aura entered. He was slightly shaking and gripping something covered in cloth in a death grip.

"Excuse me, your highness." He quickly walked over to a side table and put the wrapped item down on the cloth. He then left just as quickly. I shrugged and walked over to whatever the man had just delivered.

I ran my fingers over the blue silky clothe before unwrapping the fabric, it was a picture. One of the types that Master Oromis had taught Eragon and I, Eragon had freaked out Arya with his image. Well, I now had picture of me from last night. He was really playing around with my emotions.

"I am so screwed." I muttered as I wrapped the picture back up and gently placed it in my leather bag. I shoved some packaged food and a few war scrolls I thought Nasuada might want into the bag as well. I slung the bag over my shoulder and pulled up my hood.

I gave my room one last look before heading out and making my way to the portal. I switch into my' 'pissed of princess' mode, stalking down the halls and giving anyone I came across a murderous glare.

I eventually reached the area where the portal was, I gave the mages a dark look and they immediately opened up the portal.

"Smart choice boys." I said before I stalked into the portal, as soon as I walked through the portal I was greeted by many of the empires soldiers. "I need a horse."

They looked at each other with uncertainty.

"Get me a horse now!" I snarled, they scrambled to do so.

"Your highness, may I inquire on where you plan on going?" I turned around to look at the mage who had spoken.

"Know thy enemy." I responded with a dark smirk, the mage had a taken aback look before understanding dawned on his face. He nodded as a pitch black horse was brought over to me. It had a black saddle, reigns, and breastplate to match. "I don't know when I'll be back, don't come after me. Someone might decide to be an idiot and ruin my plans."

The soldiers paled and nodded back at me. With one last smirk I spun the horse around and went into a canter immediately. I quickly made it to the plateau maze, almost there. The horse started to shift on her feet nervously, I entered her mind and calmed her down before continuing.
