Chapter 1

Chapter 1:

Bethany's POV

"EEKK! Bethany, I cant believe its finally the day!" Lily screeched in my ear.

Can this girl not understand that I'm sleeping or...? Lily is my best friend. Ive known her since middle school. We both never fit in. I guess thats what made us click. Since we were in middle school we were inseparable. We went shopping together, ate out together,

even went on family vacations together! I love her to death and she loves me too.

"Ha ha, okay calm down Lil. Its not even that exiting." I groaned.

"NOT EXITING? NOT EXITING! Bethany what in the name if god are you talking about? This is the day we have been dreaming about since forever! Do you know how early I woke up today? 5 p.m! Thats how exiting this day is!" She screamed.

Honestly, her voice was giving me a headache and even though I'm not showing it, I'm really nervous. Today is huge!

"LILY! If i get out of bed will you please shut up?" I pleaded.

"Your so lazy beth."

"Really? As if you've never said that to me a thousand times before."

I hated getting up in the morning, but Lily was like my human alarm clock. She would always wake me up. Me and Lily live together. We both graduated from high school a little over 2 months ago and during summer we moved in together. We figured that since we both got excepted to NYU together, (our dream college), that it would be the best decision to make.

Today was that day that we get to go see our dorm rooms and just take a quick look around the campus before we actually start our year there. This is going to be great.

I swiftly got out of bed and ran to the bathroom so Lily couldn't get in there before me. Sadly, I was too slow and she beat me. I could have sworn i was standing out side the bathroom door for over an hour! I looked at the clock in our room and read the time. 6:45 a.m. We had to be on campus by 7:30!

"Lily, if you don't get out of the bathroom right now, I will personally break down this god damn door and shove you out!" I threatened

"Okay, okay, sorry mrs.Grumpy pants! Im coming out." She backed down.

She opened the door and walked out. I have to hand it to her, Lily looked absolutely gorgeous. Her long blond hair cascaded down her back in loose curls. She had a swipe of mascara on and bright red lipstick.

I walked into the bathroom and started washing my face. Then i brushed my teeth, applied a bit of makeup to my face and looked in the mirror.

My hair was the opposite of Lily's hair. Shoulder length and blackish/brownish.

My eyes we a light brown color. I was never blessed when it came to eye color. I always wanted grey or blue or green eyes, but there was one thing on my face that caught my attention and sure as hell would catch everyone else's.

A pimple. Great, i thought to my self sarcastically. I applied some foundation over it so it could be a little less visible.

"We gotta go Beth!" Lily yelled from the kitchen most likely.

"Ughhhh I still have to put my clothes on! Hold up Lil! I be down in just a sec!" I screamed back.

I ran to my closet and quickly threw on some random clothes that were on hangers. A black pair of skinny jeans and an NYU shirt. Well at least that would get my into the college spirit! I grabbed my little bag that crosses my chest and grabbed my necklace my grandma gave me. I never leave home without it. I ran out of our room and out the door. I locked it and ran to the car me and Lily shared. We were on our way to college.
