BOOM! Himo, Rineshine and I were awoken by a loud explosion. I shot up, "Himo, Rineshine! Get your stuff!" I say,
"Yes sir!" They said, grabbing their gear and armor, while I grab my sword and shield.
We run out of our house, looking at the kingdom as it is glowing orange with flames and there's dragons in the sky, breathing fire at the castle, I see a man running,
"Hey! You! What's happening?"
"T-t-the dragon king, Ghesh, has risen!"
"Oh, son of the moon god! Rineshine, Himo we need to get to King Candor"
"Uh, how? Are we just gonna run in there and be like 'King Candor come with us.'? It's Ghesh, the freaking dragon king, not the king of Eternia." Himo said,
"Well....I got it! We are gonna go in there and HIT GHESH TILL HE DIES!"
"Why is he our leader?" Rineshine asked,
"Cause I can kill any of you in one sweep of my claw." I replied
"Okay, guys can we not talk about this and go to King Candor?" Himo asked
"Of course, Himo. Let's go."
We ran to the castle to see King Ghesh sweeping his arm, killing everyone that he touches,
"You mortals you think you can kill me? Hah!"
"I can" King Candor ran out of the castle holding a great sword, "RAH!"
"HA! Nope." Ghesh said, grabbing Candor and throwing him across the castle, he hits the wall
"Hey!" I yelled as we make it to him, "Stop right there!"
"Oh look! A real fight! I've fought dragonborns before and they are hard work, but I always win ."
"Not this time. Everyone, group up and HIT HIM TILL HE DIES!" everyone around me started charging him,
"Hahahahaha, you think that will actually work? Wow, maybe you won't be as hard to kill." ghesh sweeps his arm, hitting me and the whole group onto a wall
"Ugh." I get up, wiping dust off of my scales, "You think that will work Ghesh? Try again, right guys?" I turned around to see Rineshine and Himo on the ground, spitting up blood, "Guys!" I rush to Himo, check his pulse. Dead. I go to Rineshine
"Torinn," He said, raspy. "Don't cry. I will live on. In here." He points to my heart,
"You know I don't like that sappy bull crap." I said, tears forming in my eyes,
"Fine, then don't let my death be in vain." Rineshine closed his eyes and took his final breath,
"I won't Rineshine, Himo....I will avenge you." I said, crying
"Wah, wah, wah!" Ghesh said, mockingly
"My name is Torinn Dragoon, you killed my friends, prepare to die."
"Alright! Now the party has started!" Ghesh said, cheerfully clapping his hands, "You sure you want to die, dragonborn? I can raise you as my own! You can be my prince!"
"No...I deny your reality." A small fire ignites in my mouth, lava rushing through my veins, "And replace it with my own!" Fire bursts from my mouth as I double, triple, quadruple in size, "DIE GHESH! DIE!' Fire rushes towards Ghesh, burning throughout his scales,
"NO! I can't die! No!" Ghesh said as he slowly turns to ash and blows away in the wind, the fire stops, the whole castle is black but it seemed to survive. My vision gets blurry,
"That was fun." I pass out.
When I wake back up, I'm in a small tent, on a cot that is poking at my scales, "Where am I? Hello?" I yelled out. I see a man walk in, holding an item wrapped in cloth "Prince Andor?"
"Hello, Torinn." Andor said,
"W-what are you doing here?"
"I've come to give you your crown."
"My what?" I asked, surprised
"Your crown, Lord King."
"Woah. I'm, king now?"
"Yes."
"Uhh okay."
"Here." He unwrapped the cloth to reveal a golden crown and placed it on my head, "what is your first order of business King?"
"To rebuild the kingdom."
"Well, let's do it together."
And that's how I became king of Caldisla.
