I paced outside of the door of the principals office.
" idiot...." I muttered to myself.
how could I come to school the day after I shoved a teacher, and think that everything would be okay?
How did I think that I could get away with it?
"Amelia.." I heard a stern voice call.
"Shit!.." I spat, before stopping outside the door and opening it slowly.
"Take a seat miss Pierce." He said, gesturing to a chair.
"Don't call me that..." I mumbled, sounding like an afraid child.
He ignored me, so I took a seat like he asked.
My breath caught in my throat as I looked up.Miss Evans was here.
She looked at me, but she didn't look angry, instead she looked sympathetic, and then I saw she was looking at my arms, my wrists in paticular, and the many fresh wounds and old scars on them.
I shifted uncomfortably in my seat, looking away and waiting for the principal to talk.
"Obviously you know why you're here Amelia..." He said
I just nodded and looked down.
"Okay well let's cut to the chase, do you have anything you would like to say to miss Evans?...."
I shook my head, still looking down.
"okay Amelia, you've been in here far too many times, and you already know the talks I give.I'm going to skip to it if you don't mind."
"Fine.." I sigh rolling my eyes.Damn I probably have a month of detention.
"You're expelled.."
My mouth hung open and I couldn't help the emotions that washed over me.I started to cry and my makeup started running.
"Fuck you.." I spat
"Amelia, you were nothing but trouble."
"If you were smart enough to realise, for once in my life I was trying hard in school! Its not my fault I'm bad at math!"
"Amelia, I tried to help you multiple times.." Mrs Evans piped in
"You weren't helping! you treated me like I was retarded!" I said, unable to hold back my anger.
I don't know when, but eventually I gave up, and lay on the chair, my face buried in my hands , not making any noise.
"Who should we call to pick you up?" The principal spoke
"There's nobody .I've lived by myself since I was 16.." I sigh
"I'll just walk." I sigh, leaving the office, and then the school, and I left quickly, never looking back.
