Six Feet Under

Prologue

Lana was sitting in the passenger seat of Jason's Chevrolet Corvette with the windows rolled down her silky, ginger locks were dancing in the wind. It was a perfect day with Jason's jazz playlist playing off the car's stereo, Lana laughing at Jason's terribly corny jokes, and kissing in heavy traffic. Out the car window, you could see mountains with green pastures filled with goats and sprinkled with farms. It was all very lovely.

"Jason, don't you just love those rustic little farm houses." Lana asked, dreamily.

"Eh. Too small for me but, if you like them I'd gladly live in one. I'll live anywhere as long as I'm with you." Jason answered in a cheesy fashion.

"Oh Jason! You are so adorable. I love you." Lana said.

"I love you, too. I can't wait to live a long..

Jason's statement of love was interrupted by a loud bang. The car flew off the side of the mountain as if it had been thrown by a giant toddler . Jason screamed in fear.

Lana yelled," Shit! Shit! Shit! Jason, I..."

The car crashed landed on the ground. The impact wrecked the car and caused a piece of the door to slice into Jason's leg. Lana was off far worse. Her airbag inflated but she was against the window so, it just pushed her into the warped pieces of metal. Jason tried moving but, it caused him to bleed even more and grow woozy. Lana was unconscious but, she would soon bleed to death from her wounds. Jason choked," Lana... Lana... Stay-ay... with me..." Jason blacked out after he said his final words to Lana. On the road, stood a man in a trench coat and khaki shorts.

The man pulled out a walkie-talkie and said," The target has been taken care of. I repeat. The target has been taken care of."

The man looked down and smiled in a demented way and laughed," Bon Voyage, Sweet Lana. May you rest in hell."

The man ran from the crime scene to leave the poor couple to die.
