Suprise.
Haley's POV
It's been about three weeks since we moved into the house with Icis and Changer.
It's kinda weird living under the same roof with a zombie.
It sounds kinda weird saying..
" Living under the same roof with a zombie"
But in some way she was normal. A human. She was a big help around her.
She was really pretty despised being a zombie. Her blond hair flowed nicely and evenly in the wind.
You'd think a zombies hair would be falling out.
Her skin was a little grayish but it was still pretty. No rotten soars, or even the smell of death.
Her eyes were still cloudy tho. But I swear she can see right throw your heart into your souls, feelings.
Werid huh?
Well and anyway, she's always cheery... Since zombies don't sleep she's always and early bird.
Drives me crazy.!
"Haley.!!"
Sound of my name made me loss my train of thought.
****
I whipped my head around to see changer running in the house.
"Haley.! Go get the others.!"
"Why.? What happened.?"
Oh shit.! Did zombies get in.??
"I have a surprise for y'all."
She said with a wide toothy grin.
Believe it or not she still had nice teeth for being....well dead.
"Wha-" I was cut short when she took off running.
Yelling behind her "meet me at the back of the house.!"
I shook my head and laughed. Getting up I went looking for every one.
Riley was upstairs playing with some toys we found in the garage.
Don't worry we cleaned them first.
With Riley in my arms I headed to the other rooms to look for everyone else.
*****
"SUPRISE.!!!" Changer yelled as she smiled so brightly.
Looking down, I seen a little seedling.
"Changer what.? It's just a plant."
Everyone else just mumbled about it.
Her big smile faded after I said that.
" It's the first plant we have been able to grow.?"
"Oh..." I felt kinda ashamed that I didn't know that. .
