I, Viktor Nikiforov, promise you, Yuri Katsuki, my world. I promise you my heart and love. I promise you the land we walk and the skies we see. I promise you midnight pancakes and all night talks. I promise sloppy kisses and good morning cuddles. I promise the 'ew we haven't brushed our teeth yet' and the 'ah we're finally asleep.' I promise to be the best I can be, even in the darkest of times. I promise to help with the laundry and to always take my turn on dish night. I promise to be faithful, kind and caring. I, Viktor Nikiforov, promise you, Yuri Katsuki, me.
Yuri examined the piece of paper that held the fake vows. 'Who would write something like this? Could it have been Viktor?' The slightly confused man thought to himself.
"Ah, Yuri, there you are, I've been looking for you. What do you have there?" Before Yuri could say anything, Viktor snatched the paper out of his hands and read it aloud. Word for word.
"Oh no, Viktor, it's not what you think!" Yuri tried stopping Viktor but failed miserably.
"Yuri, have you been going through my things?" Viktor's accent sent shivers down Yuri's spine.
"Wait, Viktor, you mean to tell me, you wrote that?" Viktor's face flushed red and the Russian looked at the ground.
"Maybe. That's beside the point, you went through my things!"
"No, I found this on the ground, next to the bed. Do you really feel that way Viktor?" Yuri trembled as he spoke the words that carefully fell from his mouth.
"I-I, yes. Yes, Yuri, I mean every single word that is on that paper. I just, well, I didn't know how to tell you the way I felt. Now that you know, I think I'm going to go." Yuri grabbed Viktor's arm and pulled him close to his body.
"When I said, 'Don't take your eyes off of me.' I mean that. When I said I wanted you to be my coach until I retired, I mean that. Now, I say I love you, and I mean that. I, Yuri Katsuki, love you, Viktor Nikiforov." Viktor's eyes widened. He pulled Yuri in for a kiss.
Their lips brushed together.
Toe-loops and spins.
Kisses and hugs.
Yuri and Viktor.
