About an hour later, Jorden's sister knocks on his door while he is comfortably taking a nap while listening to jazz music
"Yo bro, dinners ready...bro?...hello..? Forget it" there is a pause then Jorden's door flings open as he jumps into the fetal position
"Come on dinners ready, get those earphone out of your ears. Your gonna go deaf one of these days." She says walking out. Jorden yawns and give a big stretch looking out the window to see the dark footprints of night creeping in, he gets up and walks down stairs.
While Jorden and his sister are eating dinner, Jorden takes out a stack of papers and places it on beside his dinner. "What's all of these?" She asks chewing on a piece of chicken. He takes the top paper and hands it to her,

"All of my progress reports from last and this year. This is my most recent." Jorden says in a low, tired voice. She opens the paper and her eyes show a gleam of interest,

"you have straight A's, why aren't you in honors?" Jorden shrugs and continues to eat the chicken.

After dinner, Jorden is washing the dishes and listening to music while his sister is on the phone. Jorden finishes and walks into the living room signing to her, "I'm going out to get some coffee, want anything?" Jorden signs,

"Alright, and no I'm alright thank you though." she signs back still talking on the phone. Jorden grabs his shoes and coat and walks on the sidewalk while listening to music.
The air is calm and steady like all is right at this very moment, the street lights glow like old corny movies that revel an enemy. Jorden walks through these lights and into the shopping area, a narrow street with shops only a child could dream of. Restaurants lie on each corner with toy and game shops following in pursuit. On the following block lies a unnamed coffee shop that Jorden walks into. It's a small shop with a bar and a couple of tables awkwardly placed to fit the civilians trying to take a break from their stressful lives. In the corner of the room lies a stack of generic magazines for those who are bored enough to read. The walls are made of wood while the ceiling is painted white with two large bored in the shape of an X trying to make sure the ceiling does not collapse. Jorden walks over to the bar and sits on the stool.
"Want your usual?" A young man says walking out from the other side of the bar. He is dressed in a white sloppy button down which the sleeves have been pulled up and black dress paints with an apron over his shoulder. A name tag reads the name, Scott on the upper right corner of his shirt. Jorden nods and looks down at the finely carved wood that the bar is made into.

"You sure are lively today." Scott says taking coffee beans and a large cup of ice, "Did you lose another match in that video game your playin?"

"Ha-ha very funny" Jorden says with a slight smirk taking off his earphone and stuffing them into his pocket, "Don't make me mention when you fell asleep at the coffee maker and woke up having to clean all the overflowed coffee, I will never forget that one" Jorden says in a low toned voiced.

"Fine case made, here" Scott says handing over an iced coffee, "don't finish that all at once, last time you did I had to get your sister over here" Scott jumps over the bar and sits next to Jorden. Jorden takes out his phone and sets it on the bar looking down at it. Jordan's eyes soften as if disappointment or sadness washed over him, Scott notices this and puts his hand on Jorden's shoulder.

"You alright dude?" Jorden looks over at Scott sadly as Scott takes his hands away and gets up.

"Jorden it's been almost 6 months since the accident happened, you have to stop thinking about it" Jorden looks back down as Scott grabs something from his pocket, "Here, this is a card that has details of a party my friend is hosting next Friday. I've got to close up now, shoo, besides you have school tomorrow"

Jorden takes the card and walks out with his drink waving goodbye to his friend. Jorden untangles his earphones and starts to walk down the street drinking his coffee, as he walks he notices his vision going blurry. He shakes his head and keeps walking trying to ignore it and act like it's nothing. His legs start to give out and fumble as his music intensifies, he helplessly grabs onto a streetlights pole hoping to get his footing back. He tries to walk as the music reaches its peak, he breaks into a cold sweat as he begins to feel light headed. There's a crack of glass and Jorden falls to the ground as the coffee spills out into the road, a mans voice is audible.

"Well, well, well what do we have here. See you real soon, Jorden" the voice says as Jorden faints and the song ends.
