Hi hope you guys enjoy this story, I was looking for a story like this and when I couldn't find one I decided to write one... It may be boring now but I promise it will get better...(P.S~ A few characters may be OOC, I had to do something about Sasuke's attitude or there would be no romantic action from his side 😂)

CHAPTER 1:
THE COMPETITION

Normal POV:

It was Friday morning and all of Konoha was ecstatic... Why do you ask? Well one of Konoha's most eligible bachelors-in fact the most eligible bachelor-Naruto Uzumaki was getting married in a week's time.

As the hero of the Forth Great Ninja War, Naruto had tons and tons of fangirls. Enough to rival those of his friend, Sasuke Uchiha, during their childhood days. Naruto had become so popular these days that people came all the way from other villages just to take pictures with him.

Since there was talk of him becoming the 7th hokage most of the girls in the village were after him. However he only had eyes for one girl: Hinata Hyuga. Ever since they had come back from their mission to save Hanabi, the two have been dating eachother and were very much in love.

The love in their relationship was palpable-practically overflowing with every glance or brush of the hands. So it came as no surprise that their engagement was announced after only a year of dating. (Which was still way too long in Hiashi's opinion. He couldn't wait for his daughter to be the wife of the next hokage)

In a park near the outskirts of the village most Konoha 12 had decided to meet up and have another one of their gatherings.

This group normally consisted of: Naruto Sakura, Ino, Shikamaru, Choji, Hinata, Kiba, Shino, Sai, Tenten and Lee. Of course Naruto and Hinata, who were out arranging wedding plans apart at today's meeting-which was a good thing since they were the subject of said meeting.

"Oh man... what a drag... I haven't thought of a present for the wedding," yawned the lazy Nara as he leaned back on the grass to look up at the clouds.

This sent everyone into a blind panic as they had all forgotten to buy gifts and due them being so young most if them had never even been to a wedding and had no idea what was expected of them.

After a couple of minutes of various clamours and sighs of exasperation and panic Kiba whistled loudly to gain everyone's attention.

"Hey, I have an idea guys!" he shouted once the world had stilled.

"What Kiba!" everyone eager to vent their frustration at anyone stupid enough to anger them.

"Shesh, no need to bite my head off!" he responded.

"Kiba everyone's upset and that's because-"

Before Shino could finish his statement Ino shouted, "Kiba, just tell us the idea already, it's getting late and I want to start window-shopping!"
