I have been friends with the Hemmings twins since I can remember because my parents and theirs are friends from teenage years to present. I remember Liz baby sitting me whenever mom would go to the grocery and later coming to bake with Liz while I play with the twins. I lived my whole life with the Hemmings around. Liz used to tutor me during the middle school and served as my second mom. Our parents are actually on the same group of friends back then. Our moms are bestfriends, while our dads are best pals. Everything is normal but High School came and things kinda changed with one of them, Luke. He wouldn't want to be seen with me anymore, he wouldn't talk to me in school, he's not him.

He changed his look, he doesn't have his hair swept to the side anymore, he wears it pushed back now. He had piercings, tattoos and is currently so popular at school specially to girls. Not to mention him being a member of a band in school along with the other popular and good looking guys but with trashy attitudes. While his twin James, my bestfriend, is just like me, a 'nerd'.

"Hey" I greeted James as he closed his locker.

"Hey" he silently greeted back before we walked together.

"How's Liz?" I asked looking at him arrange his glasses.

"She's good. Don't ask about Luke" he said before walking faster than me.

He knows I like his twin and he doesn't seem to like it much. He's been my bestfriend for years now and he thinks he knows who's the right guy for me. I walked faster to catch up with him when girls on the hallway started to whisper at each other. They must be here. I saw them coming. Luke and his band mates.

"Im only not getting bullied because my brother is Luke" James whispered to me as we both watch Calum shove a guy on his locker, with the other boys laughing.

"But that's good right?" I asked. I looked down not trying to make eye contact with any of them or they might just talk to me and do something worse.

"Hey J" Luke called before approaching us with his band mates that scares me so much. Even with the change of his appearance, I can still see the Luke that I grew up with, the caring Luke, the nice Luke.

"Please tell mom im going late for dinner, me and the boys are going for rehearsal" Luke said before his eyes traveled to me and it's when I noticed I have been staring at him.

"Hey (Y/N)" he said while he chewed on his chewing gum and smiled before walking away with his band mates. I got rude stares from the girls on the hallway hoping they will get noticed by Luke. My heart fluttered.

"Come on!" James called and I realized he's been walking. I shook my head smiling before running to catch up with him.

"Can you tutor me on Math? It's giving me a really hard time." I lied. I watched James' face as we walk the parking lots.

"Sure. Today?" he asked before we turned to where Liz has parked.

"Yeah" I answered and smiled big hiding it under the books im holding.

"Hey Liz" I greeted before sitting at the back of the car.

"Hey kids. How's school?" she asked looking at the mirror at me, smiling before looking at James as she put her seat belts on.

"Seat belts" she's a control freak. Kinda.

"Not good for (Y/N), you're not driving her home, she's coming, im tutoring her" James answered as he put his.

"No I like to go home first and get some stuffs, you know and change" I want to look good for Luke.

"He's not coming home." James said and if he was just looking at me, he'd get a warning look.
