The sun begins to rise as dawn begins arrive. The tree's branches swaying slowly with the breeze. Sixteen years have passed since the attack on Pyronock. Percival is now 16 years old and oblivious to his past. Percival has always felt something was missing in his life but he couldn't figure out what it was. King Mark the king of keylon enters percival's room silently. "Percival wake up its time for your daily training." King Markus says softly. "Just give me five more minutes." Percival says as he turns in the opposite direction. "Come on now you dont want to miss training." king Markus says as he takes the blanket off percival. Percival awakes and sits up. "ALRIGHT I'M UP ALREADY!" Percival angrily protests. "Good now get dressed I will be waiting downstairs for you." king Markus says as he walks out of the room. "I can't get any sleep around here. Not ever since he started training me at the age of ten but today he woke me up way earlier than usual." Percival yawns to himself as he gets dressed. He puts on his black and red coat and dark grey pants. Percival leaves his room and walks down a flight of stairs."Why do you have to wake me up so early?" Percival yawns as he rubs his tired eyes. "Don't you remember what today is?" King Markus laughs. "No. should I care?" Percival says wearily.

"Yes you should, come on you must know what today is." King Markus says. "I know what it is. it's my birthday." percival says rolling his eyes. "Yes and I have a present for you." King Markus says as he hands percival a note. "What's this?" Percival says looking at the note. "Just read it." King Markus says. Percival clears his throat and reads the note aloud. Dear percival, if you are reading this that means you are now sixteen. I hope you are doing well in the kingdom of Keylon. I wish you a Happy Birthday. I love you very much. Love, your dad King Nick of Pyronock. "What? this note is dated sixteen years ago" percival says perplexed. "You see My wife queen Gladys and I kept your past a secret from you up till now." Says King Mark. "I think you are ready to know the truth" says King Markus. King Markus tells percival about the attack and how his parents both perished. "So that's what I have been missing." Percival says with a sorrowful tone.

"Hey cheer up I have this present your father and mother wanted me to give to you on your sixteenth birthday." King Mark gives Percival a long box wrapped in red cloth. "Its kind of heavy. what's in it?" Percival says in wonder. "I don't know. It just came like that. Go on open it" King Markus says with a smile on his face. "Alright." Percival says with a grin on his face. Percival opened the gift and inside the box was two identical swords with the blades painted red. "Whoa these are awesome!" Percival says with a big smile on his face. King Markus laughs in agreement. "I agree those blades are very impressive." King Markus says with a smile on his face. "But now that I know everything about my past. I have a mission." Percival says with a serious tone. "I know what you want to do but you're not ready to face your enemies yet." King Markus says with authority. "I am more than ready!" Percival protests. "No you're not! You are only 16! You are not ready for real combat! Even if you were you would be going against a whole kingdom! Do you think that just one man can make a whole kingdom fall?! You would only be going on a suicide mission!" King Markus exclaims in anger. "I AM READY AND I'M NOT GOING TO LET YOU OR ANYONE ELSE STAND IN MY WAY!" Percival says angrily. "I will not allow you to get killed! Guards seize Percival and lock him in his room!" King Markus barks. Two knights grab Percival and haul him up to his room. "Release me now! I demand that you release me!" Percival screams struggling to get free. King Markus breathes a deep sigh and uses a spell to put Percival to sleep. Percival's body slumps and he's dragged off without resistance. "I'm sorry but this is for your own good. Just rest Percival. I understand how you feel but it's pointless to take on a whole kingdom alone." He thinks to himself.

Percival grabs his swords and bolts out the doors of the castle. "I should have known better than to tell him" said King Mark with a sigh. "I WILL GET BACK WHAT'S RIGHTFULLY MINE!" thinks percival as he runs to the grassy plains of the outskirts of keylon.
