Ava's p.o.v
----------------------------------------

Staring out the window instead of paying attention to science class. It's bad for you, but not me. Science was my top subject and I basically knew everything. I had nothing but A's in this class.

Well, I'm staring out the window in my science class, looking at the tallest tree in Ventown. It was the tallest Douglas Fir around here. Anyways, I'm looking at it, it's large branch's touching the snowy forest, suddenly I see him. Again. This boy- I've never seen in this school, sitting on one of the branches close to the top. I've seen him for 2 years, and everyday he's been sitting there, staring at the school like he never saw it before.

I always told myself he would fall off.
And then boom. End of story.

But no, this kid never fell, and it's hard to tell what he exactly looks like. The only thing I can see is his blond hair, raggy clothes, and a small shine of extremely blue eyes. It made him look like a mystical creature because of his eyes.

The final bell rings. Ya! End of school. For today.

I quickly grab my stuff and leave, to meet up with one of my friends, Yoru.

Okay, let me explain this dude.

He's the person who I consider a chill friend.
People call him a freak.
Why?
Well, let's just say he likes to...stay in shadows. Darkness. A abyss.
He hates light and I feel like he talks to himself.
His black hair was as dark as a empty void and he likes to wear non coloured clothing. I've never seen him wear something that has a smol a amount of colour. And he surprisingly loved to chatter over everything.
I swear, his favorite colour is probably black.
And black isn't a colour.

Walking down the hallway, telling Yoru about the mysterious boy sitting on the tree. Once again. Then he said,

"Why don't you go see him?"

There was silence while we where walking to are lockers.
Why would I go to see him? I mean, I wonder who he is- or what he is. Even if I went there, he would probably run or something. And what could I possibly do to help him?

I didn't really notice that Yoru was staring at me the whole time.

"Well?" He said.

I had to do something. Maybe I could.

brushing my orange hair out of my face, I say "Yah, I think I should."

Soon I wave bye to him and grab my jacket that was in my locker.
Then I went rushing out.

Jesus Christ, running there in 2 feet snow is actually abit difficult.

That took about...30 minutes. Jesus.

Then I look up around, trying to find him while catching my breath. Then I see him. He looked like a homeless kid. On the tallest tree. It is sort of weird.

Isn't everything weird these days?

Staring at him while he's climbing down, I holler "what in the world are you doing up there?"

That was the first time I saw him fall of the tree.

Okay, so he fell so hard I thought he broke himself.

Well, I'm getting sued.

He stumbled to sit up. i was standing about...8 feet away from him.

He had such bright blonde hair, he looked like he bleached his hair. his skin was as white as paper. well, it looks kind of dirty, probably because he is homeless. and his eyes. His eyes, i fell in love with. who doesn't want the most frosty, bluest, crystal eyes?

...i didn't think he would be...

adorable.

i watch him slowly stand (he looked about 5 feet tall) and he whispered, "Hi. I'm Iro."

Iro. Correct me if i'm wrong, but doesn't that mean "colour" in Japanese?

i'm talking to him, asking why he's up in the tree, and how I've seen him for 2 years.

But while talking, i'm just wondering, just wondering, something insane. Something my rich family would be disappointed at me for.

What if i help him? he's wearing raggy clothing, in the cold, and i bet he's having a hard time trying to survive out here.

maybe i can secretly help him.

It would be nice for a guy to have.

I asked if he was cold, wearing his clothing that definitely weren't for a cold January. He stopped for a moment. Like he didn't even recognize the cold.

"... yah" he said in a unsure tone.

Well, now's the chance.

I grab his arm and tug him. We are definitely going to Walmart.

Tugging him to come, he asked in a hurried voice, "w-wait! What's your name?"

I spun around "call me Ava. Ava wood."

And soon we were marching to the closest Walmart, getting some stuff for a homeless dude that was somewhat cute.

Nothing can go wrong here right?

Hopefully nothing goes wrong.
