Six

-Valentines Day/Wedding-

"I don't think I can do this." Finn ran his hands through his hair. "Finn, you need to be there to support him." I explained. Finn nodded, "I guess." "Now let's get in there, I need to find Sam and Ryder." I grabbed Finn's arm and we walked in.

Finn went to stand next to Mr. Schue and I sat in between Sam and Ryder.

We waited until the wedding tune played and Becky threw petals down the isle. The doors opened and Sue walked out in a wedding dress. I looked at Marley and she shrugged. Sue walked over to Mr. Schue and whispered something that made his face go white as a ghost. I looked at Finn, he looked like he was gonna puke.

Being at the reception made me feel bummed. Everyone was dancing with someone, and Sam, Blaine, and Tina were awkwardly dancing. I was sitting slumped down with my arms crossed. "Why are you so bummed out?" Ryder walked over to me. I bit my lip, "Just seeing all these couples kinda makes me sad." Ryder held his hand out, "Wanna dance?" I smiled and placed my hand in his. While we were dancing I saw Sam looking at me. I smiled slightly at him. He did the same then went back to dancing.

-A Few Days Later-

I was walking to the choir room when Ryder came up behind me. "We're gonna be late." "I know, but you go. I have to go to the bathroom." I said. "Ok, hurry." Ryder ran off and I went to find the bathroom.

"Hey Spencer, do you have lipgloss?" Brittany asked as I finished washing my hands. "Yeah Brit, give me a sec." I opened my bag to grab some when I heard two big bangs. People started screaming and I ran into a stall and stood on the toilet. Brit was in the one next to me. I heard my phone buzz multiple times but I couldn't answer it.

-Sam's POV-
"Sam sit down!" Mr. Schue yelled as I ran for the door. "Spencer and Brittany are still out there!" I said. "And Tina." Blaine added. I looked over and saw Ryder trying to sneak out the other door. "Both of you sit down! You're putting everyone else in danger!" Finn exclaimed. I reluctantly sat against the wall next to Artie. I prayed that nothing happened to Spencer, or Brittany and Tina.

-Spencer's POV-
Five minutes of hiding passed when I heard someone walk in. "Brit, Spence?" I heard Finn's voice. I hopped off the toilet and went out to hug him. Brittany did the same. Then we all quickly went back to the choir room.

When we got in I felt arms being wrapped around me. I knew it was Ryder and I hugged him tightly. I stepped back and Sam hugged me, "I'm so glad you're ok." "I'm glad you're ok too." "Ok guys sit down!" Mr. Schue told us. Sam and Brittany sat next to each other. I don't know if they're dating again but I'm gonna leave it alone. Ryder grabbed my hand and we sat next to each other. My whole body was practically shaking. "Hey, hey, it's ok. It'll be ok." Ryder wrapped his arms around me. Sam quickly crawled over next to me. Ryder let go and started texting someone. I looked in Sam's eyes then hugged him. He began to slowly sway. I pulled away then looked at Finn. He was sitting next to Kitty and Unique. I quickly got up and ran over to him. "Spencer sit down!" Coach Beiste said. I slid next to Finn and hugged him. (I know lots of hugging, but we could die so get over it!)

I stood outside the school shaking. Sam walked up to me, "I'm driving you home, let's go." Sam dragged me to his truck.

The truck was filled with awkward silence. "Sam?" I said. He glanced at me, "Yeah?" "Are you and Brit dating again?" I asked. Sam shook his head, "No, but I still care about her.... And you." I bit my lip, "Sam, you're sending me mixed signals." He stopped at a red light then grabbed my chin and kissed me. The light turned green and he started driving again. I smiled, "What was that for?" "To help you finally understand the signals."
