(yes his thoughts are in English, sue me)
I hold on to Mr. Washington's leg like it's a life line. I don't like it when Thomas makes fun of me.
Mr. Washington picks me up. When I cry he usually has Herc talk to me but he sent Hercules to Mrs. Washington's office. She's the vice principal.
Charles, Thomas, and James were in the office too. I leaned my head on Mr.Washington's shoulder, still crying.
No one knows yet but I live with Mr and Mrs. Washington. My real mommy and daddy left me in America.
Mr.Washington strokes my hair. He does that whenever I cry at home. "Lafayette, shh, you're okay." He said quietly.
He puts me back down and takes John to the nurse, Alexander and I follow. "I don't think you're a cry baby." Alexander mumbled to me.
I smiled at him. "Thank you, Alexander." I said, he made me feel better. Like a second Hercules.
It was time to to go home by the time we checked up on John. All the kids went home but Da-Mr.Washington kept Hercules, Alex, John, Thomas, James, Charles, and of course me.
All of their parents came in. I stood closer to Mr.Washington, I felt safe around him.
"Charles Lee! Apologize to those boys right now!" Mrs. Lee sounded angry. "I can't believe you would do this, Charles!" Mr. Lee muttered.
"Isabella, John, please. Stay calm." Mr. Washington said and they stepped back. That's when Charles walked up to John.
"I'm sorry, Lispy...john I mean." Charles sighed. "I'm sorry, Lafayette and hercules and you too Alexander." He rolled his eyes.
"We're sorry too." Hercules crossed his arms. Mr. Mulligan looked at Herc and he uncrossed his arms.
After all the apologizing is done Mr. And Mrs. Washington take me home.
When we get home I go up to my bedroom, but Mrs. Washington follows me. "Lafayette, honey." She says as she sits me down on her lap.
"Vous savez que vous n'êtes pas un cri bébé." (you know you're not a crybaby) She said to me, smiling gently.
"Mais ... je pleure beaucoup. Je sais que c'est vrai ... Ma mère je veux dire Mme Washington" (But... I cry a lot. I know its true...Mommy I mean Mrs. Washington.) I said, covering my mouth when I called her Mommy.
Mrs. Washington smiled at me. "Voulez-vous m'appeler maman, Lafayette?" (Would you like to call me mommy, Lafayette?)
I nodded and hugged her. My real parents never showed me affection. That's why I love my new mommy and daddy.
Mommy and I walked downstairs. Daddy made grilled cheese and tomato soup for dinner. I sat down at the table.
"May I have Alex, John, and Hercules over tomorrow to um Dormir?" (Sleep over) I asked while taking a bite of my sandwich.
"Of course. I'll contact their parents." Daddy said while placing the soup in front of me.

Hercules, John, and Alex are sleeping over today! I'm so excited. When I get to school they all have bags packed with stuff for tonight.School went by so fast and we're already in Daddy's car getting ready for out Dormir. I don't think Alexander has had one before because he looks nervous.
When we get to my house we all sit on my bed. "Hercules, can you fix my turtle for me?" John asks as he hands the green stuffed turtle to him.
Herc nods and gets out the sewing kit he takes EVERYWHERE with him. Hercules begins sewing the left leg. John smirks at me.
"let's play truth or dare!" He giggled.
Oh no.
