Kelsey gave me her number. She wasn't Aspen but she was someone. Just like Brittany. I went on a few dates with her but I couldn't get over Aspen. I kept imaging Kelsey as Aspen but then she'd say or do something that wasn't Aspen at all. So I broke up with her just like I did to Brittany. And I cried. Cause the hole that I wanted to be filled by Aspen was still empty and I couldn't fill it with other random girls. I should've known I couldn't fill it with Kelsey. It didn't work when I tried to fill it with Brittany either.
Side note- Brittany is the girl he dated in the first book that "broke his heart"
