I gulped as Harkon beckoned me to come closer and Sean shot me a reassuring smile which I was too nervous to return.
I walked down the stairs and Harkon eyed me.
"What is your name?" He asked rudely.
"You first." I shot back making Sean and the other vampires look at each other nervously.
"I am Lord Harkon. Now, who. Are. You." He growled and I scoffed.
"(Y/N)(L/N)." I replied coldly.
"I already assume you know what we are."
"What you are doesnt matter to me." I replied shrugging as I stole a glance at Sean and I noticed his brows were furrowed as he lookes into my soul.
"It should. You could easily be ripped to pieces." He hissed coming closer. I saw Sean coming but I beat him to it.
I drew my (Bow/Sword/Dagger/etc) and (aimed/pointed) it at his head.
"Try. Me." I challenged as Sean was at my side.
"Brave. Yet somewhat foolish." He replied making me scoff, all my fear was gone since Sean was next to me.
"Since you brought me my son back, you deserve a reward.""What am I? Your dog that fetches things and gets a treat for doing it?"
"You can have my blood." He ignored my comment and I made a face of disgust. "Perhaps you need more convincing? BEHOLD THE POWER!"
I backed away as he transformed into a terrible blood thirsty monster in front of my eyes.
"NOW MAKE YOUR CHOICE."
"Father, this isnt--"
"I refuse your gift." I interupted making them look at me. "Now what? You kill me?" I glare as Harkon glared back.
"No. We'll let you go for now, but after, you are prey. Like all mortals. Begone!!" He belowed as he launched a spell at me and I blacked out.
●-●
I woke up and cracked my neck earning a satisfying crack from it.
I glanced around and saw I was in the boat and off the gloomy, dark island. I sigh as I look longingly over at it, missing the company of Sean.
He may be a vampire, but he had a human heart.
I look at Shadowmere and smile as I hop on him and gently nudge him, heading back to fort Dawnguard.
●-●
When I got back to the fort, I noticed blood splattered on the floor and I panicked, rushing up the hill and shooting the two vampires that were attacking Isran with my crossbow.
"Are you alright??" I yell as I jump off Shadowmere and run to him.
"Damn. Its our own faults for openly recruiting like we did. It was only a matter of time. We need better defenses.. well? You have news Im hoping its good."
I rubbed my neck. "I do have news.. but I wouldnt call it 'good.'" I reply.
"Damn, why was I expecting differntly? Well what is it?"
"When I went down there, there was a man."
"A man?"
"He wanted to go home, he was the son of a powerful Vampire Lord."
"And you delivered him right to them. What else?"
"..... they have an Elder Scroll." I cringed, why did I let him go?
"By the eight this is worse than I thought. We are going to need SERIOUS help. I know 2 people that will help... Sadre and Brodan." (Im SORRY I DUNNO THE NAMES ;-;)
"Where would I find them?"
"Last I heard Brodan is near a cave east of here, and Sadre... she is a odd one. Might be by that ols dwemer structure to the south. Best of luck to you."
●-●
I brought back Brodan and Sadre and I noticed that Isran looked more... stressed and confused with a hint of anger.
"You two are good. Brodan, you'll find a area large enough to armor up some trolls and start on that armor. Sadre, you'll find another area so you can work on your crossbow design. You. Come with me, we are going to figure out why a vampire came here asking for you. Move." He said sternly making me jump and run to him, wondering who it was. Sean? I gulped, Harkon?
Hopefully Sean wouldnt be dumb enough to-- Your thoughts were interupted bu the vision of Sean standing there smiling at you, cheeks dusted pink.
"○__○" was your face as he approached you.
"Probabaly werent expecting to see me again were you?" He mumbled and chuckled before scanning over you. "Glad I did though." He smirked drawing near to you he was about a couple inches away from you when Isran cleared his throat making Sean click his tongue.
"Why are you here vampire?" He spat and glared at Sean.
"I need your help." Sean said to me, completely ignoring Isran making me bite back a laugh. "My father.. he is going insane. He keeps going on about a prophecy? Something that involves blood. My blood. All I know is that he wants some bow... Arials bow?"
"Hey! Why should we even BEGIN to trust you!" Isran shouted grabbing Sean by the coller and lifting him up.
"HEY!" I shouted making Isran flinch and lower Sean making Sean smirk, "Dont trust him? Fine. But trust ME." I say while standing in front of Sean.
"Ugh. Fine. IT can stay, for now. But he is YOUR responsibility now. He screws up, you pay the price." He says jabbing a finger right underneath your throat making you flinch back into Sean.
Sean wrapped his arms around your torso protectivly and rested his chin on your shoulder and hissed at Isran and coldy replied, "I'll remember THAT the next time Im feeling hungry. Do that again, unless you WANT to keep that finger." Sean hissed again at Isran who fled the scene.
I sigh but notice he is still hugging me from behind. "Uh, Sean?"
"Hmm?" He hummed.
I guess we both turned to look at each other, because I turned my head to the left, and him to the right. And...
We kissed.
