Inhale.

Exhale.

Inhale.

Exhale.

They are way too fast, and yet, I can still manage to run for my life.

I don't know how I got here, but I know that if I stop... It wouldn't be very pleasant to think about at the moment.

The walls are so big, that I couldn't see the end of them and they were coated by deep green vines.

"joelle" I can hear the voice calling my name but it was very faint.

"JOELLE" the further I'm running, the clearer the voice is getting, and the more familiar it's getting .

"Come on Joelle, HELP!" This time, I can hear the voice coming from behind the door at the end of the hall. I run to the door, only to find it unlocked. I open the door, I see my mother sitting in the middle of the room and men with guns around her. She looks up at me.

"Joelle!" She yells, her voice hoarse. I stare at her, while feeling as if the whole world had stopped around me. I knew for a fact that my mother has died three years ago, yet here she is, in a dirty room, looking worn out and tired, calling out my name. And the weird thing is... That I know that this day happened before and I know what will happen next...

"Joelle!!!" my mom goes again, but this time, there were gun shoots.

Then I am dragged away

My eyes become very watery....Oh my god, am I melting? My hand shoots up to my face and touch it. Was it water?...I look at it again... tears, that's it, i'm crying, something I had never done for years.

"Joelle, Joelle!" I bolt upwards feeling my head hit something hard.

"OW!" me and someone yell at the same time.

My hand tightened on the duvet that was covering me, I was on a bed. I looked around, I was in a nice, simple bedroom. The walls were painted a light creamy color, while the rest of it was turquoise themed.

"gosh Joelle, someone might be a little jumpy today!" She examines me while the smile on her face fades away. I notice the girl right away, she is my roommate, Elissa at my boarding school.  She touches my cheek, before swiping it on my shirt "Oh my god, you were crying!" she said in a concerned tone "and is that sweat?", she pointed at my shirt and left the room. She came back a couple minutes later  with a shirt in her hand.

"There you go" she threw the shirt at me and sat beside me "now tell me what happened, did you remember anything new?"

"W-well if you consider having the same dream I've had for the last two years then no" I said quietly, with my head held low.
