Getting Closer

Naruko's POV

It's been a few months since I came here to the Akatsuki with Itachi. We've been a lot closer lately and I like it. Right now me and Itachi are watching a movie. It's a scary movie. Scary movies aren't really my thing so whenever a scary part comes up I grab Itachi's arm and bury my face into his arm.

"Itachi,  I'm bored." I said. I put my arm on his right shoulder and looked at him as he turned his head to look at me. "Let's do something fun." I said. "Well what do you want to do?" he asked me with a smirk on his face. "Let's go swimming!" I said in excitement. He just smirked at me and then said, "Ok, let's get ready then." I got up and started walking towards our bedroom. I could faintly hear two pairs of footsteps walking down the hallway as Itachi followed behind me. We both walk through the doorway of our room and go to our separate closets/dressing rooms. First thing I do when I walk in is to go to my bathing suits. I pick out a nice dark red bikini that's kind've revealing and I'm not sure if that's what I'm going for but I guess I am. It's all because in the last few months my feelings for Itachi have grown to maybe something more than a friendship and I think I want that and I think I'm gonna tell him today. I'm not gonna be one of those people that keep it inside and not tell the other person until they say something or make a move. I mean two things could come out of this, with he's still my best friend or, it'll become too awkward and he won't be my best friend anymore. But I'm also hoping that he will still be my best friend but also return my feelings.

Once I snap out of my mind I look in the foot length mirror at myself in the bikini and I'm really hoping this will do it and he'll notice his feelings for me. Oh my gosh. I feel kind've stupid that I just realized that I have feelings for my best friend.

I made my way towards the back yard but stopped at the sliding glass doors. I look through to see the giant inground pool with a bunch of lawn chairs surrounding it. And one hot looking Itachi Uchiha chilling back in a lawn chair with sunglasses on.

But before I could open the doors I realized that the rest of the Akatsuki would find out that we're going swimming and that they would want to change and go swimming too. So I guess I'll have to make time us two have right now to tell him and see if he likes me back. Which I really hope he does.

The sliding glass door is slid open with my right hand as I walk out into the sunshine. I walked onto the concrete and watched as Itachi looked in my direction and took his sunglasses off, put them on his chair, and made his way towards me as I made my way towards him. "Itachi I need to tell you something." I said as we kept getting closer until we were about three feet apart.

"Go ahead" he said. I closed the space between us till I was flush against him. "Itachi I have feelings for you" I said looking in his dreamy onyx eyes. Whenever I looked at Sasuke back in the village I always thought of Itachi. Whenever I looked straight into Sasuke's eyes in times of a fight, or times of seriousness, or even on a mission, his eyes always reminded me of Itachi's dreamy eyes. "Thank God" he said before smashing his lips on mine.

I felt like there was fireworks and that we were in our own little world, and I know that sounds cheesy because it probably is but its true. Before I knew it things started getting heavier. I bit Itachi's bottom lip and he moaned into my mouth so I took this opportunity to put my tongue in his mouth. And oh God he tastes awesome. Now it was my turn to moan. We finally had to pull apart for air and when we did we were breathing heavily and there was a string of saliva connecting the both of us. We were both panting heavily hoping to fill our lungs from the much deprived air. "Oh God that was awesome" I said. "Well if you liked me that much you should have told me sooner. Then we could have done that a while ago." Itachi said with a smirk on his face. "Just shut up and kiss me some more" I said and smashed our lips together and bite Itachi's lip hard, it soon drew blood and I gently lapped my tongue over it in apology which he didn't seem to mind because he just did the same to me.

We broke apart after a few minutes and put our foreheads against each other's. "We should do this more often" Itachi said with a smirk. "Definitely. It'll be even better inside." I paused for a second. " In our room" pause again. " On your bed" I said with a final smirk. "Oh definitely" Itachi said smiling. "So how about we get in the pool like planned and have some fun?" I asked Itachi with a playful manner while biting my lip. "Oh, if you keep doing that I don't think I'll be able to hold myself back." he said to me. "Then what's stopping you? Sexy." I said. I started walking backwards and then I turned around and jumped in the pool knowing Itachi would follow. I surfaced from being under the water and Itachi grabbed me and held me up just below my butt. He slowly started slipping me down until I was face to face with him and I kissed him.

He returned the kiss and then we broke apart. I created some distance between us and I knew at this moment I loved him. And I feel like I should tell him right now. "Itachi I'm in lo-" "Cannonball" and from that voice I instantly knew it was Deidara. And then, right then, I knew I wouldn't be able to tell him and our special moment and time were over.

Hey so it's me the author. Making my first author note. Exciting right. Well maybe. But I'm here to tell your guys that if you want something to happen next like a scene or something please just right in the comments what you want and I will try my best to do it. One: my posting days are going to be all over the place to when I finish a chapter maybe chapters. 2: I'm on of those authors where you can write negative stuff and please correct me if I get things wrong. If this story sucks tell me and I will try to make it better and post more often. Also I can handle negative comments just saying this again and it's just part of the judging of books if you don't like it you don't like it fine by me. But if you like it than tell me and I will try to update sooner. Last thing: 3: Do you guys want Itafemnaru in the next chapter? Also do you feel comfortable with me swearing in the book?
