The Deaths

How it all begain!

I'm Ann, Ann Maria silver but people at the station call me anny. I'm the only girl on the team for now but that's enough about me. Now on to the case there's been about twenty dead girls this month.
They all have long black hair blue eyes and there all about in there 25s this means the killer has mommy issues. How should I go about this we've found five knives and one piece of hair. But this hair it was from the victim after the twentieth murder they stopped for at lest ten years.
I know all of this because my dad was on the case back then now he's retired. I'm we're he was back then except I'm the head homaside now and yes I'm a girl now I'm working on this cold case but I don't think it's quite cold anymore. About two days ago there was a girl in her 25s with long black hair and baby blue eyes! She was killed by the docks and tied up for show it was horrible!
I went to the man on the case and told him this but he called bull sh*t "that case has been cold for ten years!" Omg he's pissing me off " yeah dumb a**  the killer was about 19 that makes him about 29 and if it's not that it could be a copycat! You just don't wanna deal with the fact that I'm right and your wrong!" This argument went on for about a half hour until the captain told us to stop.
He asked what it was about so I told him and he looked shocked at how I could tell that it was death who had killed this girl. "Ha! See I was right captan says so" hahah jake has this pissed off face now it's great. The captain spoke up h-he just told me I have to work with jake!! No no no! I can't work with him!.
"But captain!"  "No buts" ugh I guess I'm stuck with jake " you both should go home get some sleep" like I'm gonna sleep I'm gonna stay up all night and finger this out! "Sure thing captain! See you captain".

***back home***
I live in a small apartment one bed one bath and a half kitchen that's it. My bedroom has a double bed
With dark blue covers and a dresser with the little bit of clothing I have. The kitchen has the basic necessities fridge cabinets and a island. As soon as I got home I went straight to my computer I have to finger this out I just have to. Well I'm working I get a call at 2:45am it's from the hospital what the hell
**phone call**

Who is this and why are you calling me this early in the morning?
Is this Ann Maria silver?
Yes it is why what's happened?
Your father has been in an accident and is in surgery right now please come down to the hospital to sign the papers.
I'll be right there!
**end of call**
Holy sh*t I can't believe this is happening I hope my dad is ok!. But I can't just stop working this job can be the biggest headache for the department this year has ever had!
I have to figure this out and I should distract myself as well I'll bring my laptop.
get dressed and grab my keys and laptop with the file in the laptop bag.
