take me with you my darling, take me with you.

Once upon a dreary day

You were laid to rest.

They lowered you into the ground

With flowers on your chest.

Take me with you my darling, take me with you.

You had left me to roam this place,

This place that I fear.

And I refused to leave my life

For very few years.

Take me with my darling, take me with you.

I did something with my life.

Normality's a bore.

I became a music star

And my popularity soared.

Take me with you my darling, take me with you.

My lads and i were good fellows,

But sometimes got out of hand.

Some booze and anger was all it took

To get me out of the band!

Take me with you my darling, take me with you.

Now I drown my life in booze

With a few bottles a day.

And I hope that everything I have

Will someday fade away.

Take me with you my darling, take me with you,

So i took some of this and more of that

After my final drink

And I smile, as the world leaves me

And I start to think

I am with you my darling, I am with you.

(I'm sorry if it doesn't make sense, I'm tired and sad so I'm writing things to pass the time. Since this is ending on such a depressing note, have this. Thanks for reading!)
