When I woke up my body was stiff like it hadn’t been used for weeks. I was lying on a sofa in a very nice house.
“Hello duck are you ok?” A girl asked me.
“I’m fine” I said my voice hard and bitter. “Where am I and who are you?”
“I’m jess and you’re at my house and you’re a vampire. Don’t worry we will look after you.”
I could think of what to say so I asked “we?”
“JAMES, KIT, HANNAH GET DOWN STAIRS THE GIRLS AWAKE!” she shouted to the house and the said to me “I’ll show you” and 3 teenagers came bolting down the stairs.
“Heyy girly” they all said at the same time
I couldn’t help but smiling “hi”
“So what your name?” One of the boys.
“I’m Rosie” I said shyly I sat up
“Well I’m James” he said “she’s Hannah” he said pointing at one of the girls “he’s kit” pointing at the other boy “and I bet she told you her name?”
“Yeah its jess” I said. They all came and sat on the sofa next to me “One sec did you say I’m a vampire?!?”
“We are all vampires” kit said with a big smile on his face. As I looked around every one was nodding.
“Erm want do we eat?” that was the first question I asked.
“Well we eat animals but if you don’t want to we can eat human food and life normally but you will have to be strong to do that.” This time it was Hannah.
“Ok” I said nodding. I liked the idea of eating human food.
“But now we better get you some stuff to sleep on and so clothes” jess said with a smile. I looked down I was still wearing the dress and I agreed.
