Mentors Who?

Mondays in JYPE can be very demanding. It's the first day of the week so it's usually double the exercises and activities. That is why I wasn't surprised when one of the staffs woke me up two hours earlier than our usual morning call. Times like this made me miss my old roommate. Lucky for her, she debuted a year ago in a girl group and is now currently doing their very first tour. To be honest I was jealous. Very jealous in fact because she looks so happy with her new group.

"Oh when will that happen to me?" I sighed. I decided to take a quick shower to untangle this mess of a hair and get rid of all these negative thoughts.

Once I was done freshening up, I head over to the cafeteria to have breakfast. I was starving! As much as I wish to eat a lot, I have to watch what I eat if I want to maintain a good health and body. I scan the room and saw two of my good friends who are also trainees seated on a table. I walked up to them and plopped down on the vacant seat.

"Annyeonghaseyo dongsaengs!" I beamed. They both look up to me and smiled.

"Noona!! Did you sleep well?" Kwon Manli asked me sweetly. I smiled at him and nodded my head. He reminds me so much of my younger brother back home. Here, he is my favourite dongsaeng.

"Yah Ji Mi noona, are you ready for today?" Asked Lee Sian. I rolled my eyes and grumbled under my breath. This boy just had to remind me of our Monday activities.

"You boys know I hate Mondays so no I am not ready for today Sian." I replied with a mouthful of bread. Manli laughed while Sian cringed seeing my mouth.

"Eeewww noona!! This is why none of the girl trainees wanna hang out with you. You're basically a namja!" Sian claimed. I smack him in the head and continued munching on my food.

"I wonder what we will be doing today..." Manli trailed off as we see one of the JYP staff come to the front with a microphone.

"I guess we'll find out now!" I mused.

"Good morning trainees! Today is a very special day for all of you. We have invited some of our current JYP idols to mentor you today. We will be splitting you up in groups and you will be transferring from mentor to mentor doing different things. I hope you all have a fun and exciting day ahead! Fighting!" The staff concluded.

I raised my brows. "Huh. JYP current idols are that free today to give us a mentoring session?" I mused.

The boys laughed but I can see it in their eyes that they are excited. After that announcement, we finish our food and headed to the main building to get our itinerary for today.

I got split up from the boys and now I'm stuck in a group of girls. We were told to head over to the dance studio and by then I knew it was going to be a long long day.

After 3 hours of non stop dancing, we were finally given a break since it was lunchtime. Some groups finished before us so there was a lot of trainees in the caf by the time I got there. I grabbed a bottle of green juice and a salad then headed to my usual table. Two minutes later, Manli and Sian joined in.

"WAH our dance session was so DAEBAK!!" Sian screeched.

"Yah! Can you not yell?" I answered. Sian rolled his eyes and Manli laughed. Luckily for us 3, there's an hour and a half for lunch break so that means I can freshen up a little bit after lunch for the afternoon session.

"Noona, who's your mentor this afternoon?" Manli asked.

I scratched my head since I myself forgot which idol(s) will be mentoring my group.

"Um, I'm not too sure." I sheepishly reply. Sian flicked my forehead lightly saying,

"Yah pabo noona, we were all given a sheet in the morning. It should be written there." I rubbed my forehead and pouted my lips trying to brush off the embarrassment.

"Noona, please don't use aegyo on us. You suck!" Manli said quietly. I smacked him on the back of his head and decided to check the sheet I had from this morning.

"It says here that my group will be having a mentoring session with the idol group Got7...?" I trailed off unsurely. By hearing that, the boys looked at each other with their eyes wide open and said "MWO??!! LUCKY!!!"

I shrugged my shoulders saying, "I don't know them so I don't get why you two are fanboying right now."

Manli rolled his eyes while Sian choked on his orange juice.

"Oh noona, my poor noona. You will fall in love with at least one of them after this mentoring session no doubt!" Sian mused.

I rolled my eyes and decided to ignore those two. I better freshen up quick so I won't be late for the afternoon session.

"Got7 sunbaenims, whoever you are please take care of me!!" I thought to myself as I was walking to the dorms. All of a sudden I felt an impact and I fell on the floor.

"OMO I'm so sorry!!" The person voiced. I was going to lash out on them but I didn't recognize who it was so maybe he's an idol.

I quickly bow in respect saying "Gwenchanayo. It's my fault I wasn't paying attention." The person chuckled so I looked up and saw that the guy was wearing a SnapBack that says WANG.

Hmmm maybe he's a fan of Alexander Wang

I thought. I quickly remember what was I supposed to be doing so I bow my head again and said, "Please excuse me. I have a timetable to follow and I don't want to be late."

The guy smiled and nodded his head giving me way. Once I reached my dorm, I quickly changed my clothes and brushed my teeth so I look presentable for my next activity.
