"Now!" Abby yelled pointing at Chase, who stabbed the cardboard dragon on stage. The play continued on. When it finally ended, I stood up and hurried off, holding my little brother's hand. We turned the corner. Chase, Abby, Mackenzie, and a few others that were in the play were back there. I looked at Chase, who winked at me and told the other members he'd be back in a few minutes. He followed me and my brother down the hallway and we ended up in a classroom.

"Chase, I don't have a clue about what to do, Mason can't grow up like this," I said, glancing down at 4 year old Mason. Wait, let me go back a few hours.

I walked outside, and on my way to Collin's house. Collin was my neighbor and one of my best friends. I rang the doorbell, and waited for him to answer. After about two minutes, I gave up and continued walking down the street. "Courtney!" screamed a childish scream. I turned around. Little Thomas Parker was running toward me. He ran into me, bear hugging me. I picked him up, spun him around, and put him down. His blond hair fell in front of his eyes barely, and his bright blue eyes were huge. How adorable! I looked around, expecting to see a parent. "So what are you doing out here by yourself?" I asked him.

"Mommy and Daddy are out shopping for food. I felt like some fresh air." He said, trying to sound cool and older.

"Is anyone home?" I question. Hopefully he's not out here on his own.

"Yeah. Tyler's there and so is Collin. Will you walk me home?" He asked. I didn't have time, but who could say no?

I smiled. "Of course." I held out my left hand and he took it. We walked down the street until we reached the Parker's house. "You can go ahead."

"No! I want you to come with me!" Thomas said. Before I could react, he pulled me toward the front door and opened it. I found myself in the Parker's living room.  "Guys, this is Courtney, she's awesome!"

Tyler looked up from his XBOX game and laughed. "Thomas, I think we all know Courtney. She's like, the prettiest girl in school." He said, then realized what he had said and blushed. I smiled.

"Thank you."  I said. Collin glanced back and forth from Tyler and I with this retarded look on his face.

"What just happened?" he questioned, throwing fruit loops at Tyler.
