Katie clambered out of the passenger side door, overwhelmed by disbelief. Disbelief that she had been hit. Disbelief that she was still alive. Disbelief that the other driver was bellowing at her from outside.
Her knees threatened to buckle as she struggled to gain her footing on the concrete surface. She was miraculously unscathed but in total disarray as she failed to deal with the shock.
