Chapter 3

Haley P.O.V
I had been to busy looking at my phone to realize that we had stopped. "Haley get out of the car" I heard one of the boys say as they where all waiting on me. "Is waiting on you gonna be like a normal thing" I heard jack say as we started to walk into the grove. "Yep and you better get used to it. I like to take my time" I turned around saying and laughed a little. I was looking around at all the shops and saw pink "Jonah can we pretty pretty please go shopping" I say tugging on his hand. "Haley I'm not gonna sit there while you pick out clothes. But if you can convince one of the boys to go with you it's fine." He replied to me looking at the shop he wanted to go in. "Hey Jonah I will go with her. I don't really feel like buying any clothes so it's so problem" Daniel said and winked at me. "Oh um okay just met us in 2 hours" Jonah said then whispered something in Daniels ear before leaving.

"What did he say to you Dani" I asked as we began to walk around. " he said that if l tried anything he would hurt me." He said grabbing my hand "but he isn't here so let's just let this be our little secret." He said flashing me a smile. We began to walk around the shops and walked around. I saw the Pink store and I knew had I to go in so I pulled him in with me. "So Daniel who's this Elizabeth girl I hear about" I said looking through the shirts teasing him about earlier. "Oh she's the girl that I met recently. She has really pretty dark brown hair with these gorgeous greenish eyes." He said has he started to play with my hair a little while I was looking through a rack of clothes. "Wow she sounds really pretty. Think you will ask her out one day?" I said as I turned and smiled at him. "I don't know maybe I will maybe I won't. The only problem is that her brother doesn't really like me with her. He's that overprotective type you know" he said referring to Jonah. "Yeah but maybe it can you guys little secret" I said picking out a shirt from the rack and holding it out for him to see. "Yeah but seems like we might already have some of those. I like that one" he said pointing the shirt next to the one I was holding up. "Well maybe in some cases it's okay to have secrets." I replied picking up the shirt he liked and putting on my arm to try on.

After I had gone through the whole store twice I decided to head to the dressing rooms. "You can sit in the chair next to door if you want?" I say taking my stuff into the little room. "Okay but you gotta show me everything you try on" he said and winked at me before I shut the door. I tried on my shirts and showed them to him and same with the pants. I had saved the shirt he liked for last. I put it on and went out to show him. "Okay one things for sure if I get this shirt I can never wear it around my brother or he might have a heat attack." I said laughing at how low cut it was and that it was mostly see through. "Oh yeah I don't know it would be that low cut. It looks good on you though. It shows off something really nice" he said winking at me again for like maybe the tenth time today. "Is there something in your eye you seem to be closing it a lot" I said laughing going back into the changing room. Once I heard gotten back into my normal clothes I went out with my clothes and started heading toward the cash register. Once I had bought my clothes we heading out the store. "So is there any store you wanna go in." I asked taking his hand as we began to walk around again. "Yeah um... when I was unpacking I noticed I didn't bring enough underwear so is it okay if we go look for that?" He asked me looking down at his feet. This what the first time since I had met him that he had acted nervous or awkward. "Yeah that's fine. Where do you normal go?" I asked looking at the shops we were around. "Well I wear American Eagle sometimes but normal Calvin Klein." My god this man wears Calvin Klein how much better can he get I thought it myself. "Well American Eagle is right over there so let's look in there first" I say as I lead the way into the store.

After about 30 minutes in American Eagle we went and found some Calvin Kleins for another 30. Right after Daniel had finished checking out I got a text from my brother saying they were ready to go and to met them where we had split up. "Hey Daniel we gotta go back the boys are done and they wanna go home." I told him as we walked out of the store. "Dang I wanted to spend some more time with you" he said and winked at me again. "Oh well your lost and we better get back cause my brother hates to wait" I say as we started heading towards where we had split up from the rest of the group. After a few minutes I saw the back of my brothers head and I dropped Daniels hand. I looked up at him and saw him frown and I motioned toward my brother. "Oh there you are Haley. I was starting to get worried" I heard my brother say as he turned around. "Hey Jonah sorry we were on the other side so we had to walk all the way here" I said giving him a hug. "Well the car is here so we better get going" corbyn said smiling at me. We all headed toward the car. Corbyn got the front this time and I was stuck in the middle between jack and Jonah. Zach and Daniel were behind us with all the bags cause we didn't have any room.

The ride back was pretty quiet till Jonah finally said something. "Haley what all did you buy today seemed like you had a lot of bags" he said looking back at all the bags. "Oh mostly shirts put I did get a few shorts and one pair of leggings from Pink. Also some other things that aren't that important" I said smiling hoping he would catch on to the fact I had gotten some bras and stuff. "You went into Pink? You know mom doesn't like you in that store" he said turning to me getting mad. "No Jonah mom doesn't have a problem with it. It's YOU that does so maybe you should get the straight first and second why does it really matter where I shop. Like just cause I go to a store that sells bras and underwear doesn't mean I will turn into some hoe" I turned to him and snapped. Everyone was staring at the two of us. Jonah just sat there stunned at what I had just said. I turned away from him and put my ear bunds in and zoned out for the rest of the ride
