Dan's P.O.V

'All the other kids with the pumped up kicks you better run, better run outrun my gun. All the other kids with the pumped up kicks you better run, better run faster than my bullet.'

"Goddamnit" I mumble after carelessly falling off my bed to turn my alarm clock.

"Dan start getting ready!" my mother yelled to me from downstairs.

Why do I have to get up again? Oh right yeah, I have to go to school, but not just school, a New school. I don't really don't mind having to go to a new school since I seem to be able to find my crowd easily, usually within the first one to two days. Besides i'm used to transfering a lot considering my mum always seems to be getting better jobs. This time she said that we won't be moving again though, I sure as hell hope thats true. Just because I don't mind moving doesn't mean that I 'want' to move.

I got up off the floor and threw on my black eclipse shirt, blue skinny jeans, and black sneakers. I headed downstairs for breakfast to find that my sister and mum were already in the kitchen.

"Took you long enough Danny boy." my sister Daniela teased.

"And let me guess you were up at five-thirty this morning to do you're hair and makeup." I retorted.

"Touché."

We both chuckled and I sat down.

Daniela and I don't look alike at all, I mean we are ferternal twins after all. I have brown-curly hair, brown eyes, prominent cheek bones, and pale skin. Whilst Daniela has blonde-wavy hair, bright green eyes, plumper cheeks, and has slighty darker skin than I do but that's probably just because she tans easier than me.

"You're not going to straighten you're hair today?" Daniela asked.

"Oh crap I forgot!"

And with that ran up the stairs to straighten my poodle-like hair.

Phil's P.O.V:

'Thump, Thump, Thump'

"What the bloody hell is that?" I mumbled to myself before stumbling over to my window. I saw my friend Louise standing outside, throwing pebbles at my window. She hadn't seemed to notice me, so like the stupid person I am I opened my window.

"Ow" I yelled placing my hand on my forehead.

"Sorry Phil"

"It's alright, just let me get dressed and grab my bag, then we can go."

"Okay"

Louise has always been kind to me. We've been friends since we were four years old and we're sixteen now, we're kind of inseparable actually. She almost never leaves my side at school and neither does our friend Cry whos has been our friend since we were six, we have another friend named Ethan but sometimes he'll go off on his own. Quickly and quietly I slipped on a blue shirt, black skinny jeans, a dark gray sweater, and black vans.

Once I was ready I grabbed my bag and climbed out my window to avoid waking up my dad incase he had come home last night.

"Did you're father come back last night Lion?"

"I d-don't know, his c-car isn't in the d-drive but he could have
g-gotten a cab."

I don't stutter a lot, only really when i'm scared or talking about my dad.

"Well hopefully he leaves you alone now that schools started up again."

"Yeah h-hopefully." I replied doubtfully.
