'Don't look into her eyes!'
'Don't look into her eyes!'
'Don't look into her eyes!'

I chanted this mantra to save myself from the wave of emotions coming my way. But as they say

'Easier said than done!'

I looked up and my eyes met hers. Brown orbs that were laced with tears stared back at me. It was hard to resist looking in those eyes when the story written in them reciprocated your very own. They were strong eyes, stronger than anyone else's. Strong enough to scream out their pain without stuttering on any word. They had no hint of hesitation but instead were bold and confident. It was not because they held no memory of insecurities but because the brain had accepted and carved each one of them on her body.

My eyes wandered to her lips. Flaked, bruised and lifeless. They were still or maybe just numb. There was no hint of a smile or a frown.

A tear escaped her left eye and slowly rolled down her cheek. My eyes scanned her face one more time. There were bruises and scars, some seemed old while some were fresh. The tear made its way to her lips but they didn't move neither did they quiver from the storm that followed.

She didn't blink, not even once while the chain of tears slowly but steadily raced down her face. A few minutes and a slightly damp face later, her eyes became emotionless. She had stopped crying. Closing her eyes, she took a deep breath and her lips managed to form a smile.

She was in what they call a pitiful condition. So fragile yet strong. A person looking on the outside would have no clue about the volcano that had erupted on the inside. Her body was demanding to be held but her lips were silent.

I moved forward, gathering all the courage I had, and reached out for her. My hand met the cold mirror's surface in which stood the art that I had become. Loud yet silent. Its true that only an artist can understand its art.

'How long is it going to take for your highness to say goodbye to the unwanted waste of her body?' An impatient Sarah banged on the toilet door.

'What do they say about blondes and patience? Well, they don't because the two have never been found in the same place!' I retorted, unlocking the door

'What do they say about blondes and patience? Well, they don't because the two have never been found in the same place!' I retorted, unlocking the door.

'I'm dying of hunger. Can we please head to the cafe now?' She begged.

'Say no more! Your stomach is already doing a good job.' I rolled my eyes.

She stuck out her tongue at me as we headed down the hall making our way to the cafeteria.

As we entered the hall, I spotted our table with six familiar faces that had reached their patience limit for today. I rolled my eyes at them, sitting next to Josh.

'What on earth took you two so long!' He demanded

'What on earth took you two so long!' He demanded.

'You never know, maybe something heated up between the two of us'

I winked at Sarah and Josh gasped.
Josh is currently dating Sarah and both of them have been way too possessive about the other.

'She is kidding, stupid.'

Henry cut in, to save me from being brutally murdered by the daggers both of them were throwing at me through their eyes.

'Someone is a softie' Gigi and Hayat said in unison while nudging poor Henry to almost make him fall off the chair

Rolling my eyes at them I turned to the only sane people seated with us

'Hey! Did you get the homework for me?' I inquired

'Hey! Did you get the homework for me?' I inquired.

They both nodded and for a moment even I felt what most people feel when they encounter a pair of twins.

A figure appeared at the door of the hall. Tall and muscular. Fair complexion with green eyes and fawn coloured hair that blocked most of his vision. His eyes searched the cafe until they finally landed on me. There was a hint of worry in his eyes but I had closed the chapter long ago. Jerry Collins.

I smirked at him as he made his way through the crowd and tried to sit on the chair next to me, ready to blurt out his apologies

I smirked at him as he made his way through the crowd and tried to sit on the chair next to me, ready to blurt out his apologies. As he was about to sit i kicked the chair from beneath him just to make him land on his butt real hard. The entire cafe erupted in laughter.

'What the hell was that for?' He shouted.

'I don't know. Your face maybe!' I replied and grabbed my stuff to walk out of the cafe as everyone whistled and clapped.
