It was a normal day at Central High when Melisa climbed into her light blue saturn vue. She was on her way home to have dinner with her college boyfriend. She was just pulling into the drive way when she heard two gun shots that when through her back window. Melisa through
the car into reverse and hit the gas. The man that had the gun was standing in the road shooting at her car. When her car made contact with the man it made a loud thud sound. Melisa climbed out of her car and ran for the house. She made it to the front yard when the man rolled over and shot once. The single shot flew through the air and hit Melisa in the side. The shot knocked Melisa to the ground. Melisa was screaming for help when her boyfriend John walk out the front to see Melisa laying in the yard. He started running across the yard when the man shot twice. The first shot hit John in the leg as he started to fall the man shot the second one and it hit him in the shoulder.
Chapter one
Melisa woke up in the hospital next to John. But john wasn't conscious. Melisa had lost consciousness at the house just after John had fallen to the ground after being shot. A nurse walk in the room. Mulisa asked "How long have I been here?"
"Two days. Why?" the nurse questioned
"TWO DAYS!! Really two days I'm going to die."
"Why are you going to die?"
"Because I need to be in school!!"
"You are the only child I know to would die because they missed school."
"Ya well I sure don't think that most teens don't want to go to the dance."
"Well change in subject how are u feeling?"
"Like crap, plus my side is killing me."
"Ok well that is normal that your side hurts because that's where you were shot."
"O ya i was shot that is why I'm here."Melisa replied sadly
"Well you should be out of here soon." "Well I'll let you rest ok ."
"Ok but one last thing."
"What is it?"
"When will John wake up?"
"He should be up soon."
"Ok."
As soon as the nurse stepped out of the room John started to wake up. Melisa slowly turning toward John as he woke up. It was about five minutes before John actually woke up and was talking.
"John are you awake?"
"Ya, were are we Melisa?"
" In the hospital."
"What happened? Why are we here?"
"What happened, we were shot. Why are we here, to get better.
"Stop with your smartalic stuff."
"Why its smart."
"Ya but you are kinda pissing me off so stop Melisa!"
"Well for sleeping for two days you are really annoying me with your pissy attitude!"
"What is wrong with u Melisa. you're kinda being a bitch!"
"I'm kinda being a BITCH!"
"Now Melisa you know what I ment."
"Ya I do you just call me a BITCH! So that makes you an ASSHOLE John. And what's wrong with me is I have been SHOT John so give me a brake."
" O I will when you remember I was shot twice."
Right after that a nurse walked in.
"Quit yelling your upsetting the other people here if you want Melisa you can leave you're well enough to go. But John you have to stay for about another two or three days for your shoulder injure. so have a good day."
" Can you help me with these wires and needles please." asked Melisa
" Ya only because I have to."
"Well that is really reassuring to how well I've been taken care off while I've been asleep."
"Thanks for helping me though."
" Just remember that you do still have stitches in your side so be careful."
"Ok is my car here?"
"Ya it is in section 4."
"Thanks."
"Be careful."
Chapter 2
It took Melisa about half a hour for her to find her car even though it did have a back window and a giant body sized dent in the back of the SUV.
"There it is." Melisa thought
She climbed into. The SUV when she herd the sound of screeching tires. Melisa flip the car into reverse and backed out and then pulled foreword to see a man standing in front of her car with a gun. It was the man the caused the body sized dent in the back of her SUV. her started to rase the gun when she hit the gas. The man jumped out of the way firing twice one hit her door the other went through the back side window. He climed up firing two more times into the back of her SUV. Melisa rounded the corner to see a car blocking the exit. All she did was aim for the back of the car a gas it. she hit the car and it was through out of the way. Her car hit the wall bounced of and into the side of another car. she flew out the exit and into the street
t-boneing a parked car. Before she could through the car into reverse she herd gun shots. She reversed and an drove away hearing more gun shot as she rounded the corners. A few seconds later she saw a police car in her rear view mirror with its lights on. she pulled over to the side road. cop jumped out of the car with his gun drawn. He was screaming at her
"Get out of the car with your hands above your head!"
Melisa was a little puzzled for a moment but she did as the cop said. When she climbed out of the car she raised her hands and walked towards the cop he screamed
" Stop right their and lay flat on the ground!"
Once more she laid flat on the ground. The officer walked over and cuffed her. while walking her to the cop car Melisa asked
"Why am I be arrested?"
