Sophia
Today was probably the best day ever! My crush noticed me! In class I was sitting at my desk taking our math test. I saw the cutest boy in the class, Samuel, look over at me. I saw him out of the corner of my eye. The teacher said, " You two, yeah, the two lovebirds- " Well that is at least what I wanted her to say. Mrs. Brownlee actually said, " Samuel, eyes on our own paper! " Then I snapped back into reality and realized that he wasn't looking at my glorious facial features he was looking at my answers to the math test. I never said the cute kid was the smart kid, which I wish was true most of the time, then the boy I liked could have something in common with me. I wished he noticed me, I wish anyone really noticed me. I am the "smart" kid in the class. And being the smart kid means you're a nerd, being a nerd means no one really likes you, when no one likes you, well nothing really ends well.
Sophia laughed as she closed her diary from when she was a little girl. The things she wrote would have been so embarrassing if the wrong person got their dirty hands on it. Sophia set down the diary on the dining room table near her backpack that was packed and ready for school tomorrow. As Sophia walked up the steps to go to her bedroom she thought of how smart she is and how many friends he has nowadays.
Morning came quick. Sophia's mom rushed downstairs in her robe, cooked breakfast and put the diary that Sophia had left on the table last night, thinking it was a book that Sophia had needed that day. Sophia was dressed when she came downstairs and are a quick breakfast.
"Bye mom."
"Bye honey. Have a great day today "
"Okay, I'll try."
Sophia caught the bus for school just as it almost left without her.
At school, Sophia was at her locker taking things out and putting things in. She hadn't noticed the diary that was placed in her backpack. Boys had always just used her for projects and homework, they never gave credit, or even liked her. In fact, Samuel her old crush came up to her.
"Hey Sophia." Samuel said in his attractive voice.
Sophia melted. Her face turned red.
"He- Hey Sa- Samuel "
"Do you need any help?"
"N- No I'm fine. Thanks, though "
"Yeah. Well listen. I need some help."
"Sam, you know I have things I need to do still, too. I'm not Google, I can't give you all the answers you need."
The bell rang.
"I need to go Samuel."
Sophia darted to her home room. She didn't know her backpack was opened, and that a notebook that read ' Sophia's Diary ' had just fallen out of her backpack and got into the wrong hands.
"SOPHIA! You're-"
"Goodbye Samuel!" She called back.
In Samuels hands was Sophia's diary that he began to flip through, he landed on the page that was marked:
