Sophia sat in the office until the principal had called her into her office.
"Sophia, Sophia. Why did you have to do this?"
"He- he had my diary. He copied a page and hung it up all over the school!"
"That still gives you no reason to get physical..."
"How would you feel if someone had taken your diary and basically put everything that was supposed to be kept a secret everywhere for the public to see?"
"I- I mean-"
Sophia gave the principal a dirty look.
"Let me give you this much, Sophia. How did he get your diary?"
"I- I- I don't know. I was reading it the night before and I left it on my dining room tabl-"
"Sophia?"
Sophia had begun to put together the pieces of the puzzle.
"My mom. My mom did all of this. I put my diary near my backpack last night. This morning, my mom and I were in a rush. My mom must've put my diary in my backpack this morning thinking it was something I needed today."
"Okay? But that doesn't answer how the other kid had gotten his hands on it."
"Well, I can give you this, that boy that did all of this is Samuels friend. Samuel was the last person I had contact with before all of this started."
"So, what you're telling me is that you think Samuel has something to do with this?"
"That is what I am exactly thinking."
"I think I am done for today, Sophia. We can come back tomorrow or later. I'll try to get Samuel and his friend in here."
"Thank you, Ms. Blustone."
Sophia left in silence and went back to her class. In the hallway, Sophia had saw Samuel.
"Hey Sophi-"
Sophia just kept her head down and walked past Samuel. Samuel turned around and tried to think why SHE would be mad at HIM. The boy she had written about in her diary that day. But now Samuel was putting together the pieces of HIS puzzle.
