School. The first day of school, or transferring to a new school is like walking into the open gates of hell, the teachers are the demons, the students are the souls that were damned to hell, and the principal is the devil, See? What a strange resemblance.

I know it's not completely bad when it's a normal school, because your mostly being ignored. BUT, My school isn't even close to being normal. Now you're probably wondering, why?

Long story short, I go to a rich kids school, Oh, I beg my pardon; A Preparatory school.

Basically a preparatory school is a school that's not funded by the government, so the parents of the children donate funds to the school to keep it running, and in this case; the donors are rich..Their children, are spoiled brats.Although I, however, am not.The reasons this would be is because I didn't grow up in a rich family. My dad passed away, it's a touchy subject but my mom later married.I don't really like the guy, he's nice but nothing like my real father.Oh, did I mention he's insanely rich? No, oh pardon me. He's insanely rich. So we moved and I was sent here, to Holland High.

My experience in this school was pretty crazy. So grab a snack and settle in; it's going to be a long ride.

The morning started out pretty normal, I got dressed into my uniform, Had some breakfast, got dropped off at school, but the actual school experience wasn't something anyone would expect on their first day.So, lets begin with the first part.

My mom and I walk into the entrance of the school, looking completely dazed on where to go.My mother and I were given a map.Although, it's horribly disorganized."For a fancy school you'd think they would give out a better map ", my mother implies as she tries to figure out the directions of the dysfunctionally organized map.I look around, Wow. I have a Jan-sports backpack , while these kids have Prada and Versace hand-bags.I've barely been into this school for about 3 minutes, no socializing with anyone yet and I'm already feeling like a total outsider.

We finally find someone to guide us to the staff office, and soon after my mother signs me in and I'm all set to go.

"I want you to remember what I said? If you need me I'm right her-"

"Mom I'll be fine okay? It's just school I'm not heading off to college"

"I know sweetie, just-be careful"

She gives me a stunned smile and leaves. I walk back into the school hallway, Heading to look for my locker.
Once I finally figure out where it is I try to open it, but it won't budge.Way to make a fool of yourself Delilah, very nice impression on your first day.I guess I won't be needing my locker anyways. The bell rings and I walk to my first class.

"Welcome back children, we have a new student joining us today, Everyone give a hand for Delilah Scott, our new student".
The class gives a small and eerily quiet clap. Mrs.Linton, the teacher, gives me tiny smirk and begins to introduce me. "Delilah would you like to share something about yourself?

I get up from my seat and stand up, facing the whole class.

"My names Delilah, of course you already new that"

I spurt out a nervous laughter, making the whole class even more awkwardly quiet then it was before.

"Well, uhm...I like the outdoors...Uhhh?....I like animals and...*Ahem*..Sorry my throats dry"

I'm completely puzzled on what to say, I'm socially awkward not to mention I get very anxious when I talk publicly.

"And yeah...Thank you".
