for weeks now you have been finding yourself picking up little notes that were dropped out of your locker. every time you opened it after school to get your books, a note would fall. startling you at first, and then relieving you, for it was a simple but cute note.
you picked up the note and folded it up for it to reveal it's contents.
you look beautiful today :) maybe someday i'll have the courage to ask you out in person.

but there were rumors saying that he had a crush on sana, the leader of the cheer squad, so you immediately backed away.
figuratively and literally, from your locker with your books in hand. when you turned right to exit the hall, a tall figure bumped into you and knocked down all of your books.
flustered you bent down to pick them up and the person crouched down to help you as well. you looked up and the both of your eyes met. his brown eyes meeting your (e/c) eyes.

"sorry, i didn't see where i was going" he apologized, hand rubbing the back of his neck.
"it's fine" you smiled sweetly at him.
you collected your books and as you were about ready to leave, he stopped you.
"(y/n), do you have some time to spare? i wanted to ask you something"
"sure"
"well, you might not agree, and i'll accept your answer either way, but..."
"but..?"
"i like you."
oh wow, that's pretty straight up.
"and i've been meaning to ask you" he said, "here goes.... i've been the one that gave you the notes. and i finally got the courage to ask. will you go out with me?" he smiled shyly.
you gave him a shocked look.
"is this a prank?" you asked, not really believing him.
"no" he said simply, "it's ok if you don't like me back"
"no i'll go on the date with you" you smiled.
"really?"
"yes, i've liked you for some time now" you winked at him.
