Mia's POV:
I hadn't spoken or seen for that matter Sam since this morning's fiasco. I knew I had been a little bit harsh but the look on Sam's face was just so classic, I couldn't help but laugh as I thought about it, even now.
After Sam had abruptly left my room I had decided that there was no point in trying to salvage any some more sleep, any hopes of sweet dreams had been completely shattered.
So slowly I had began preparing myself for the torturous day ahead.
Every morning after I had finally managed to drag my sorry butt out of bed I would get ready for school in a specific order.
I had no idea why or what even possessed me to get ready in the exact same order every day but it always seemed right.
Now seriously, don't go getting the wrong idea about me....
I might be organized when it comes to getting ready in the morning but the rest of my life is a complete mess , I could hardly even function though the day without at least 7 cups of coffee and even then I sometimes struggled to remember my own name when our registration teacher called it out in Tutor.
I smiled at the number of times I had been marked absent because I had been too tired or lazy to reply to my name.
My mum had gotten into such a panic wen the school had phoned in inform her that her daughter was missing. She had gone into complete melt down mode and had called most of my relatives and even the police by the time I had arrived back from school.
I had come home expecting the place to be deserted as my mum usually worked until 5PM but instead the dive was surrounded by cars, people were crowding into our house like One Direction had popped in for some afternoon tea.
As soon as my mum had seen my she rushed over pulling me into a huge, rib crushing hug. She has crying as she held me tight and I remember the feeling of utter confusion I had felt.
The funniest part had been when my mum had asked me where I had been, stupidly I had answered with The Pub. I had thought this was a hilarious joke but my mother didn't seem to share the same humour as me and was furious and I was grounded for a whole month
Much to the delight of my egotistic brother.
I reminisced about this as I did my make up, teeth, hair and then strolled casually down the stairs to grab something to eat before I headed put to school.
I was abut half way down the stairs when I heard the front door slam and an engine start up outside.
For a moment I didn't even have a second thought about what had just happened, but then it hit me...
This was Sam's revenge.
Sam was almost two years older than me, his birthday was on the 22nd of July making him 18 in three moths.
For his 17th birthday my mum had given him a SVT Cobra Mustang. He loved his car with all his heart and I often couldn't help but wonder if he loved that car more than me, after all I wasn't his "Baby" as he called it.
Although mum had been happy for him to have the car he got it on one condition....
He had to drive me to school with him every day.
Montybay High was exactly 12 miles away from our house making it impossible to walk and the bus that travelled to and from school was so old I was always surprised when it managed to stay in one piece and survive to the next day.
It was also the most disgusting form of transport ever, the seats were stained yellow from teenager smoking and drinking on them.
I also had a theory that people peed on the bus and it was because of that, that I swore I would never ever get on that school bus.
