After driving all day long we made it to the loading docks. The boat was leaving at 7, We had 2 hours to get settled. But first we would have to get aboard.
We parked the car then took out our luggage and stared towards the ship. With the ship taking off in 2 hours I would have thought that more people would have already boarded but it seamed like everyone was boarding at once. Most people were walking in groups , but there were some walking alone.
Many people had bumped into me but it was all on accident, then when we got into the lobby someone bumped into me so hard that I got knocked over. A young man stopped and helped me up. Once I was standing I got a good look at his face. He had shaggy hair and beautiful eyes that could melt anyone.
"Thanks" I said, "that could have been a disaster"
"No problem, I'm Steve! He replied
I extend my hand and said "nice to meet you, I'm Reece."
Right after I said that mom called For me to follow them, I turned and went to say I'll see you around but he was no longer there but there was a paper in my hand. My family was moving so fast that I stuffed the paper in my pocket and followed.
We went straight to our room. And got settled and then went to the top deck to watch us leave the docks. When we cleared the docks we went and grabbed some dinner.
When we got back to the room we were all exhausted that we changed into are pjs and went to bed. When I went to change I checked my pockets and found the paper. This time I really looked at it. When I opened it up I saw that it had a number on it and his name. I don't know whether to be happy or grossed out that he had a pre written paper with his name and cell number. But I wanted to see if it was really was a real number.
Within 2 minutes he replied back. The message said, "Thank God, I was begging to think that you had lost the paper and that I was going to have to spend my whole trip looking for you. Is everything ok? What took you so long? "
That simple message put a huge smile on my face. I replayed back saying, " I forgot about the paper, I just found it in my pocket. I'm sorry. Yes everything is ok. Just about to go to bed so that we can have a early start tomorrow."
But sadly I fell asleep before he replayed back.
